I've been to TJ several times while on business trips in San Diego (the girls are much less expensive and there is a huge variety in TJ ... however, most are not really GFE, although they provide full service). Most bars has girls that will give you action (ranging from very agressive lap dance to HJ to BBBJ to full service), however, there are a couple bars that are set up were you browse the field, then pick one (or more) and go next door to a hotel and get a room ... (all for less then $).

There are also tons to street walker near the bar/hotel brothels, and they are cheap $.25 or less, but you never know about these girls ... I would stick with the bars. The most popular bar with the most and best looking girls is Adelita (there is also the Hong Kong and Chicago nearby). There are a few places that try to ripe you off (charge quite a bit for the newbies), so don't bite on any place that charges very much. (FYI: http://www.adelitabar.com/ )

I park at the border and walk across ... you can take a cab to downtown TJ, but I walk over the pedestrian bridge not that long of a walk. You do not want to drive across, because usually getting back is a hell of a long line that crawls.

You are correct about your comments. I live in San Diego and go often to TJ. You can also pick up some good one's at the gambling casino on Revolution street without being in the middle of the bar scene. It is also less of a hassle, as the police in the bar area's like to stop people.

I know I'm bumping an old thread, but this area of ECCIE is so threadbare, hopefully no one will mind.

I too have been to SD on business and even posted a review on the old board. But like an idiot, I didn't save it. No worries. I'm headed back to San Diego soon, and plan on heading down to TJ again. I'm damn sure going to post another review. I've never visited the street girls, as I'm always worried their less likely to keep up with their medical cards. At least I'm comforted in thinking the odds are BETTER that the club girls do.

Well I haven't been to TJ since 2008, no business trip to SD. But from 2002 to 2008 I visited SD (& TJ) probably half a dozen times and the scene there didn't change much at all duing that period ... so I don't think it has changed much since (they don't want to srew-up the tourista business).

However, does anyone local have a sense if it has gotten more dangerous?

I usually did all my playing during the daytime ... so I never was overly concerned (but I always keep observing my surrounding to avoid any surprise and I left must of my valuables in the US ... only brought 1 ID and cash).
