Trump trolling America with his Cabinet nominations ?
The chances of Matt Gaetz being approved by Congress are probably 1 in 10. Trump knows this. Yet he puts Matt Gaetz forward.
Is this the beginning of what is going to be the 4 years of Mr. Trump ? This is how to make America great again ?

The only qualification Trump wants is loyalty and willingness to do whatever Trump wants. He’s not trolling. He’s putting people there that will do his bidding, no matter how ridiculous. I love it for all the Trump voters.
Trump will be like a less smart Caligula. Reveling in his pleasure while everything around him burns. And like then his supporters will defend his very dumb decision.

Caligula’s horse was probably more popular in the Roman Senate than Gaetz is in ours.

I love the utter panic on the left. They know he's going to recess appoint. Because the RINOs heave revealed themselves. Every last one of are going to get primaried now.
And the best part is the Democrats know the hammer is coming. Eric Coomer... Ex VP at Dominion has shuttered his restaurant and home in the last 5 days and gone "off the grid". The folks at DOJ shielding all of the 2020 fraud can't do anything now. Once the truth is published, its going to be hard to defend ANY democrat anywhere again.
Trump is playing for the entire pot. If he manages to survive long enough I think what hes going to expose (beyond any actual policy activity) the misdeeds of the Biden and Obama regimes.... and he's going to destroy them utterly at the polls at the midterms.
If he exposes what many see as a stolen election and a fed led false flag operation on J6, its going to be a generational destruction of the democrats... the only ones going to be left on the left will be the out and out communists.
That's if theres proof. There's lots of circumstantial and fishy looking shit regarding all of it for there to seem like its a possibility.
If I'm wrong, it won't be much different than 2016-2020. If I'm right, it will sure make that 4th Wave book seems like some legitimate prognostication.

Seen on X....
If you didn't want Pete Hegseth to be Secretary of Defense, you shouldn't have created a DEI military.
If you didn't want Matt Gaetz to be Attorney General, you shouldn't have lied about Russia collusion.
If you don't want Tulsi Gabbard to be Director of National Intelligence, you shouldn't have written a fraudulent letter about Hunter's laptop.
If you didn't want Robert Kennedy to be Secretary of Health and Human Services, you shouldn't have covered up the origin of Covid.
Democrats should spend some time in introspection but its probably beyond most of them....

It sounds to me like Trump is casting for a new reality show. Washington Survivor! How much damage can they do before they’re thrown out of the swamp?

How could anyone possibly imply that trying to appoint a clueless country girl from South Dakota like Kristi Noem to be in charge of Homeland Security has anything to do with trolling? I feel safer flying already with that outstanding nomination alone... MAGA lives matter!
By the way, does anyone know where I can buy a fucking parachute that fits in a travel bag?

I might agree with those who feel that Gatz and Nome are suboptimal cabinet oicks. However there may be a deeper game at play.
If this was a novel by Grissam or JRR Martin, the Gatz and Nome nominations would have been made with the expectation of strong bipartisan resistance resulting in circus hearings as was the case for some of President Trump's Supreme Court nominees.
When these nominees are not approved, my novel character president would then nominate someone more credentialed and . but someone the progressive left really doesn't like. With the previous bruising hearings fresh in their memory, it may be that the Republican senators fall in line to move the Trump agenda forward . . .and SHAZAM . . .the real nominees get a rapid confirmation.
Anyway, that is what I am hoping is the case. . . .a feint within a feint.

Interesting idea. I heard a variation of it on one of the Sunday shows:

Caligula supposedly made his horse a Senator and Consul, to show the Roman Senate that it was under his thumb. The idea was that Trump was doing something similar to Republican Senators. If he’s able to push Gaetz through then the Senate is his, lock stock and barrel.
Your theory probably makes more sense.
