The Tomato Basil soup at La Medeleine is my absolute favorite!

And you can take it home with you...

I add peanut butter and Tabasco sauce to tomato soup for a rich spicy treat.

Thumbs up

My house this past month has had the aroma of some wonderful soups cooking.

Homemade Potato soup with fresh kale.
Spicy Mexican Chicken soup.
Homemade Bean & bacon soup.
And just this week a piping hot pot of sweetly spiced Butternut Squash soup.

My kitchen is my domain! Always something good cooking.
Next on the menu is the tender deer roast.

And, of course, have a bowl of crushed chiles to add a couple tablespoons to your individual bowl!

That's a red & white Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Have had quite a few over the years. Got a few running roughshod around the house right now. Ladies, if you see hairs on a pair of dark pants or a dark shirt, that's them.

I've got a fantastic recipe for cream of mushroom soup. Five different kinds of mushrooms and lots of cream and butter. If you don't have high cholesterol now, you will after you READ the recipe, never mind eat the soup. I'll dig it up and post it, maybe in the morning. Above mentioned Corgis want me to take them all for a walk.
