Deposit before Appt
I’m reading on many escort handles on Twitter that upfront deposits are gaining popularity nationally in order to confirm an appt. I sure hope this trend doesn’t come to Dallas. Unless ur booking with a popular pornstar and using a 3rd-party booking agency, i don’t see why guys would agree to this.
I understand guys can be flakey. But that’s partly what screening is for, right?

I’ve noticed it mainly with high end traveling ladies which I don’t think is unreasonable. The lady is taking a big financial risk traveling to bigger cities where the hotel rooms alone cost an arm and a leg. From what I’ve gathered they are getting the deposits without issue so it must be working for them. I don’t think a lady would be willing to risk her rep or good name ripping off clients for small deposits.
I’ve lost out money on hotels due to last minute cancellations and it sucks.

Not a chance I would ever do that. Paying anything before the session is just asking to get screwed over at some point.
Is traveling a risk for providers? Of course. They should know the market that they travel to.
Maybe clients should start requiring a deposit to travel to a provider's incall since they are risking wasting their time and money traveling to the provider. There have been many instances of providers cancelling, not answering/responding after the client has driven there, etc, etc.... so since it's such a risk for providers that they would require a deposit, clients should also require one for their risk.

Screwed a few times with PayPal deposits
There have been two providers here that have asked me to provide a PayPal travel deposit before they came to my house both of them canceled at the last minute. Never did get my deposits back the amounts were 25 and 40 bucks, lessons learned so never again do I pay before services rendered. FYI both these providers are always in the ISO’s , one I had seen b4 and another I hadn’t never again tho.

No way!! Don’t fall for this rip off tactic. There are risks in different fields of work. In escorting, the chick runs the risk of cancellations, among others. The gentlemen run the risk of the chick canceling or going silent on the way to or upon arrival, among others.

The majority of the ladies who require this are above the price point of the average Dallas lady anyhow... so, there's that. Moreover, its not typically a thing for a local lady to ask for, but it is more common among the touring ladies.

Interesting that this has come up.
I am thinking about making a trip up to Little Rock soon and due to several last minute cancellations on my Houston trip, I was thinking about a $40 deposit to help cover booking my room for that trip. Or something along those lines or like even $10 for shorter bookings since I have venmo.
Just some kind of reassurance that they are serious about booking with me so I can definitely afford my trip. I think for touring this is not an unreasonable request.

Don't care how hot, good in the sheets or if she has a stellar reputation. I'd never give a deposit or pre-pay.
We all know what happens to guys who report losing their deposits here. They get called fools and the provider carrys on like it's their right to keep deposits even if they're at fault.
If I truly want to see a traveling lady (which is rare) I'll wait for her to get here and then see if she has availability. Based on the P411 available now postings they don't ever seemed to be booked solid.

I don't know about you mongers. The providers I see are trustworthy with my money. Screening and research goes both ways. But, I'm not fucking newbie young heauxs that don't have histories, reviews or reputations, proving their reliability.
It just depends on which playpen you like to play in. And just like I do with lending money to anyone, if I can't afford to lose it, I don't do it.
That being said, I have never lost money with any of the ladies around the country that I have played with.

Just like your Asking What is Screening for , Same Thing as reviews. 9/10 If the lady is known for ripping men off this community has already made it known somewhere. Research and reviews are key , A lot of ladies also have refundable deposits or will at least try to schedule you out with no issue.

There have been providers of all types and many price levels who have ended up screwing guys over on deposits or pre-paying. Some of them were completely trustworthy, until that one time when they weren't. If you want to take that risk, then have at it, but there are many examples of warnings out there against such a risk.
The whole idea is silly that a deposit is needed. Just as you tell the guys to do their research, the providers should do theirs as well to see what the demand for their service is when traveling. If a provider is good enough where the demand is high, then they have zero need for a deposit because they will have guys lined up wanting to see them.

Deposits is nothing new when it comes to services. Actually recommended for touring ladies. Why would anyone Tour on their own dime? Yes I know business involves risk but no. I get deposits in full so it's not really a regional issue it's really more to do with how a woman runs her business. Lady has built rapport. If the gentleman cancels that serves as his cancellation fee, or often ladies will just deducted from his appointment in the future. Being that the board culture has a small audience / provider, it is very unrealistic to demand deposit in this particular situation. But when you have a fan base that reaches more then the traffic on inside alone, deposits are no big deal.

Well, for example I enjoy coming to Houston (where I am at now). My schedule was completely book for a month leading up to coming here. A week before (my room was booked two weeks before because the hotel was pretty full) I was firming up appointments and I got 4 cancellations. If I had asked for something like a $20 deposit (to which they could have used for their next appointment) then it would have helped cover this trip's hotel cost.
Why is that unreasonable?
Sometimes these kinds of trips work out well and the openings turn out for the best and I get a decent amount of interest while I am here, but I really prefer the interest ahead of time.
$20-$40 isn't asking the world to confirm a 30-60 minute traveling appointment.
Hell, I'd set up a PO Box for that. (and to set up something for sexting as well...since it seems I have a few guys on kik that are interested in that)

Are the ladies willing to send $10-$20 to clients before they travel to them for incalls since the clients are taking a risk of having their time and money wasted? That's not unreasonable right?
The point is, there is risk on both sides. Ladies of course think they are taking a risk and deserve a deposit. Clients also take risks of being cancelled on and having their time and money wasted as well, but I never hear the ladies suggesting they would be willing to send deposits to clients to make sure they hold up their end. It's a double standard.
Deposits are silly because there is mutual risk, yet you are only understanding the risk from your side alone.

sleepy, I am trying to see your point...
But on the guy's side, if you are speaking from a local incall point of view, asking for a lady to send a guy a small deposit to ensure she will show up to an incall is not the same.
If the lady falls through, the guy is missing out on an appointment, not any money.
If a traveling lady gets cancelled on after PAYING for her room already, she is out money.
That is my point.
