Practice and paying attention.

I think the biggest mistake is to try and mix it up too much. If it's working, stick with it.

Also, don't assume that porn is the greatest guide to what works. Pummeling away at high speed and smacking things hard *may* work for some girls, but it's not a good opening move. Smooth and even to start with and then play it by ear.

That's been pretty successful for me.
