This is a nice hotel at maybe $30/night. Stayed with gf here. I think will have visitor, but don't know. On Expedia.
If I remember correctly, there is a shorttime hotel tucked on the side of a lady bar around the corner from teh main foreigner street. very convenient and safe, but not too nice for price if overnight. I think 300k for shorttime. always has rooms. used to action.

Nicer, same price about 300k for shorttime, I think, but she ended up sleeping there all day for hours. No questions asked. Can be accessed through the alley ways rather than going through main entrance on the main street. (She didn't want to be seen sneaking out with me without barfine)

I think it was 100k or 150k for shorttime (1 hr) plus 50k for each hour, or something like that. overnight, it wasn't any cheaper, and it isn't nice.
i think owned by family, but it is clearly used for a purpose....
a girl in the park brought me through many alley ways a little ways away from Bui Vien, to here. the girl charged 500k and paid for the room. that gives you an idea.
And, on Expedia, a super deal on a beautiful apartment downtown, close to other action. I don't know whether they allow guests. stayed with my gf and it was lovely and fully equiped. decent breakfast. food outside all day and night, along with homeless people. This is not a hotel really. it is an apartment and worth renting longer term.

some of the places owned by families, $7-$25/night, are very nice but only allow one girl during a whole visit, or visitors only during the day, or no girls at all. the policies are not posted and you could end up having to get another hotel to keep a girl. Kim hotel and others on that street are this way. Quite nice, often. even with safes, etc.
There are hotels throughout HCMC which do shorttime. They are often called Nga Nghia, not quite hotels and often owned by families, and can be crappy. Prices and quality vary, and quality does not always correlate to quality. Basically anywhere throughout the city. Often used by couples, who can't fuck at the family's house.
