Default Providers house/apartment

If you meet a provider at her house or apartment can you still be arrested say outside the premise if the LE's are aware of what is going on inside?

You can be detained or arrested at any time and place for anything or nothing, unless you can persuade the Pigg that you are a legislator, ranking police officer, or someone else with the power to get him fired. The only distinction is whether you can get any evidence suppressed that might be obtained after an illegal arrest.

No. You can be stopped in your car leaving the premise and questioned IF LE was doing active surveillance. Only admitting to engaging in incriminating activity, had anything illegal on your person or having an active warrant would be grounds to arrest you then.

If you visited a house under surveillance and were stopped, how do they know if you were not a friend, relative or church member making an innocent visit?

Mostly in these cases, the police try intimidation tactics to get you talking and use what you say against you. Remaining calm, polite and professional and not engaging in incriminating dialogue will prevent you from any harm.

Reading ECCIE is scary. Posts here make it sound like "big brother is watching you". Try to do your homework and not see someone who appears to be dangerous or under radar due to big obvious red flags. Then relax, because if a provider has a private residential incall chances are she is careful about her business. Otherwise she could not afford to pay the bill or pass a back round check to live there in the first place. Surveillance is mainly conducted on motels. Not so much private in call locations unless high traffic results in complaints to LE from neighbors. Complaints about high traffic are what brings about LE surveillance in the first place.

This. The question isn't so much whether you can be detained as whether anyone would care to detain you. If you don't annoy the neighbors or combine the hobby with other vices, you should do fine.

None of the answers so far take into account a provider working for the cops. It doesn't happen often, but it DOES happen.

A typical scenario would be a working girl is arrested for possessing an illicit substance. In exchange for leniency, she agrees to work for the cops to set up prostitution busts. A hobbyist gets his wick wet, the provider gets paid, and as the guy is walking to his car he's arrested for the offense of prostitution. If pushed by the hobbyist's defense attorney, the state will reveal that the provider, who has immunity from prosecution,* will give evidence against the john.

*See "Did you know Texas law allows providers immunity if they give evidence against a hobbyist?".

I had a friend a few years ago we worked together. I was at her apt In Webster and she had a client come over. I was in the living room(one bedroom) They went into the bedroom. Not even 10min later she comes out and says "candie he says he a police officer". I was so scared. I took off and ran to the laundry mat and hid. I was to scared to drive I had My cousin come get me. Later I went back and got my car. She was arrested in her apt. She bonded out and I believe she took probation it was her first case.
