Did I miss the "Change Your Avatar" meeting?

So, while I haven't been checking in much lately, all the regular, shall I say, "controversial" posters have been changing their avatars. With the exception of SL, Sixx and Toyz it seems.

It's really confusing me when I'm reading a post from Homer, and I'm seeing that Johnny Depp photo, and I'm thinking "Who is this guy?", then I see it says Homer.

DIEHARD , yours is just downright disturbing at this point, which is obviously your intention.

I just have always found it fascinating what people choose as their avatar, and what it says about them. It also intrigues me how we get used to another member's avatar, and when it suddenly changes, the tone of their posts seem different.

Does anyone else notice these things? Or do I just need to get out more?

The tone of my post will not change although I do change my avatar and sig line on a regular basis. It's just like anything else I get tired of the same old same old. Probably gonna do a name update as well real soon. Not to mention I get tired of people thinking because of my Avatar that I eat a ton and am a heavy man. My new avatar, although not me is a much closer representation of how I look.

I notched yours also changed recently. I'm kinda missing the old one. You had it for quite a long time. Always made me laugh when you posted something somewhat serious, then I'd look over and see that goofy Stimpy face.

Although the troll is growing on me it still creeps me out. I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night with sweats because of that thing. I mean shit I've seen it like 11000 times so it's burned into my brain.

Only problem is charlestudor2005 used the Johnny Depp photo for his avatar for a great bit of time, sort of tarnished in my opinion. Homer is no CharlesTudor for sure and that's a positive thing...

It's a very short term pic. It's not exactly what I want but when I change my name this week or next I'll put up a new one.
