Yep they still make them. My parents smoked 'em back in the 70s. I was never a fan of menthols. I preferred old school Lucky Strikes. When the prices went up I went to rolling cigs. Hell of a LOT cheaper!! $26/1lb of tobacco for a month, $25 for a carton of papers lasting 5 months.

Menthol cigs are being chided for their addictive character for taming hot smoke into a less harsh smoke...ergo less harsh to begin smoking. They smell like ass which is why I hate them but the government's luck in banning that would be like banning beer - there's some that taste better than others but good luck on banning The general nature of an addictive substance. There was one in fox chapel 2 years ago. Kind of a manly looking chick. Was the first I saw it. Called it "tobacco verification".
