She is a nutcase? Read the story, she was a victim of abuse. Im not saying what she did was justified, but a predator created her. I used to work with victims like her, and quite frankly most are damaged beyond repair.

Predators should be put to death, castrated, etc. There is no reform for them, and they will continue to create monsters. Her trigger was when the trick said he didnt care if she was underage. Some might say he got his....one less scumbag on this earth that would hurt the innocent.

Not buying the victim card. Seems like that is her way of trying to get out from under the death penalty. It was premeditated murder.

Kiss Sparky and ride the lightening. Well, now it is more like wait 20 years and take a long nap.

Victim or not - I think she needs to sit for 60 seconds in a chair wired to an electrical outlet.

Now - I DO agree with you on predators. They should be executed and removed from the gene pool. Not a lot of people agree with me on that though.

Disilene I didnt say it was justified, but anyone that has been a victim of severe abuse is driven to be nuts, ie: serial killers. Its a proven fact. She even admitted she would do it again. The majority of victims become the predator, making them the criminal.

I dont feel sorry for her, but I see how it could happen. I know of several escorts with such hatred towards men, the things they have said. I often wonder when someone will snap.

Criminal minds had an episode of an escort serial killer. Very realistic, almost like it was based on a true story.

Yep averni she is damaged, so now we shall either feed her into her old age or remove her from this earth. Either way she is no longer a threat to anyone. Its sad, and I wonder how some of these people would have turned out had the abuse not occurred.

It actually cost more to follow through with the death penalty per capita. Its cheaper to keep her alive and feed her via a life sentence. If she was cuter she might get the sympathy factor......but she's barely marginally attractive. They are gonna fry her to scrambles........

Or she will take the easy way out and hang herself on her panties during sentencing.......but they may stretch to much and bring her feet to the ground and she will live............

I disagree: the vast majority of victims do NOT become predators, which is a good thing given what is believed to be the actual numbers of sexual-abuse victims, both male & female. However, there is a very strong correlation between predators and childhood physical abuse (although, very interestingly, not necessarily sexual abuse; sexual predators in prison were reporting childhood sexual abuse when it hadn't occurred, as part of what is believed to be a normal pattern of minimization & denial, but in other surveys for non-prison populations where positive responses for predatory behavior were followed-up there is not a large correlation between predation & sexual violence when young, but a substantial correlation w/broader physical domestic violence). In a fair number of cases of predators however, there is no abusive environment at all: they're just sociopaths. Fortunately that segment of the population is VERY small, given that they tend to have a LOT of victims, whether they are sexual predators or serial-killers. Avg. number of victims of a sexual predator prior to being identified & possibly charged is six.

Avg. number of deaths by individual serial killer? I don't know that there is any good data, one reason being some researchers exclude as serial-killers those who kill for hire or financial gain, like "black widows" etc.; OTOH, to me, that's certainly socio-pathic behavior if I ever read a definition of it: "I wanted something, I needed to kill someone to get it, so I killed him/her." (Vietnamese business-owner Ha "Jade" Smith & her daughter Anit Nhi Vo killed in California by a woman from NC who assumed her ID for financial gain; as far as anyone knows, she only killed once although she conspired w/another person & both the business owner & her daughter were killed at the same time, so would be excluded from most tracking of a serial killer; yet killers who do that more than once? I'd say include them. However, some researchers don't).

Research still cannot explain why a small number of those who've been abused become themselves predators, but a much larger number of victims do not: "hardwiring" or genetic predisposition, other environmental factors researchers haven't been able to identify, etc. In this case, she could be telling the truth, she could be minimizing; no way to really tell.

The "based on a true story" might have been Aileen Wuornos, executed by FL in 2002 for killing 6 customers (believed to have killed a 7th whose body was never found) when she worked as a streetwalker. In her case, made into the movie "Monster," she alleged sexual abuse by her grandfather. Although according to Wikipedia she never met her biological father, incarcerated when she was born, he was later convicted of child-sex offenses--he was also schizophrenic. My own take-away from "Monster" was that she was a petty criminal, not very bright, had real psychological issues regardless of their cause, and was terribly lonely--which made her a perfect victim for her younger girlfriend Tyria Moore (whom I thought was the real monster in the movie--highly manipulative young spoiled girl who sold her ex-girlfriend Wuornos out for total immunity; Moore never did a day yet her demands & manipulation of Wuornos undoubtedly caused some of the murders, IF the film is accurate). What it also did was make me want to see the documentaries which were done about Wuornos--but I haven't watched them yet.

The other cause for concern here is the "Satanic Cult" nonsense that she's stating: every time they've run these things to ground, they find there IS no Satanic Cult (or does NO ONE remember the Satanic Cult nonsense from NC & TX in the early '90s? Allegations of "hundreds" of murders, physical abuse, ritual sexual abuse of children--and all of it was total BS; it sucks, b/c it distracts attention from the real, and much greater if more mundane, problems of everyday middle-America sexual & domestic abuse as a more general problem).

Given how inaccurate first news reports are, if I were to bet lunch someplace good in NOLA, by the time of trial, the information will have changed substantially for whatever reasons--not necessarily nefarious. Look at every big news story, go back to it, and the facts in the first reports are so often incorrect.

What? Most abused people aren't doing anything like that.

Victim of abuse or not, anyone that admits to almost 2 dozen thrill kills has something seriously wrong with them.I personally know several abuse victims that did not randomly murder strangers!

Only because of all the appeals and the bleeding heart, anti-death penalty liberals. When there is no doubt, but conclusive proof, multiple witnesses or an admission of guilt/confession (as is the case here) they should be walked straight to the death chamber and executed immediately. No need to waste time and money on these people.

@chellachella:
It is proven somewhere that severe abuse victims are driven to be serial killers?
Where would I find that conclusion researched?

Or, maybe you meant to use the Latin abbreviation "e.g." (for example), instead of the very specific "i.e." (that is)? Saying that serial killers are an example of being nuts would be a much easier statement with which to find agreement.

My own considerable life experience, particularly so many years in this hobby, leads me to the belief that any one (female) child who is a victim of severe (sexual) abuse is driven to grow up to be an escort, and further driven to forfeit any possibility of her having a successful love relationship in her later life. That latter part assumes that her abuser was a person she should have been able to trust, but that it turned out she could not.

I'm pretty sure the foregoing is a correct statement, but I can't say it's a proven fact: for one thing, I doubt it would be possible to get enough truthful responses from target sampling of either group to permit researchers forming a conclusion.

OTHO, you are certainly correct that those unfortunate women are driven to be nuts. There is no need for extensive research to back up that idea, one need only read the non-advertising postings by escorts in numerous threads on various forums on this very same New Orleans list.

Guys speak of providers that are bat shit crazy. So what term would this be?

No matter if she gets the death penalty or 3 hots and a cot for life we will all pay into what it costs until her death. The cost of incarceration is driven by civil rights activist that have or legal system to the point of so many years of incarceration after the first death penalty sentencing. From there they have to exhaust the appeals process before the execution. Only way to circumvent that is for the "victim" I mean criminal to waive all rights to appeal and request expedited execution. Then we still pay for the paschal exam and 1-2 yrs of incarceration.

IMOH once the death penalty verdict is read they are walked out to the public noose or firing line and aired on TV. It will never happen but if it did many of today's criminals would change their ways after realizing life is going to be very short at their pace. Yes same goes with stealing, bye bye hand. Rape, dull knife castration. Sex crime against children, extremely dull knife castration and forget to stitch the end result up.

I can speak for myself knowing I have and still do things that are proclaimed not to be law abiding, know what-I can live with the consequences though!!!
