Smaller Louisiana cities

What is the hobby landscape like in less populated cities beyond the New Orleans or Baton Rogue metro areas? If you are a client who lives and plays in Lafayette, Lake Charles, or Alexandria as examples, is your preference to visit local companions? From my perspective, I had a sense that there wasn't much interest for touring providers. And my definition of "interest" isn't pontificating... but actually following through with booking. Or maybe I'm personally too eclectic to be well received in some of Louisiana's more rural towns.

Just for the sake of discussion I meant a provider here in Lafayette yesterday who told me she did "well" here. She to is from a large city and was hesitant to come.

Lake charles get a few visits, hardly any local women. But you would think that with all the casino's,refinerys paying workers crazy money and the economy booming the place would have lots more providers.many have to travel to beaumont or Lafayette, which is a hr away

Well, I'm down in Houma and the scene totally sucks down here. We get some providers who pass through every now and then but all in all nothing really here. There's a couple AMP's if one is hard up enough, which has unfortunately included me a time or two.

And then when someone does come down for a visit it's for a short single day or maybe day and a half so it's hard to plan it out.

Besides my prior knowledge of the casinos, these facts about Lake Charles are news to me. I guess I need to brush up on my understanding of regional economics.
