Sex In WWII on History Channel
Great show on History Channel about workinging girls during WWII.
The girls gave up their beds to injured soldiers after Pearl Harbor.
Before that, they had to work and live in the "district". Very interesting.
Worth watching.

That would be some mighty sore pussy. But $300 a day in the 1940's? That's BIG money for those times, even if the girl only kept 2 out of every three dollars.
$2X 100 guys/day=$200/day
5 days work each week=$1,000/week
50 weeks/year=$50,000/year.
Do you know how rich you would have been making anywhere near that kind of money back then?
And with no shortage of GI's coming and going all the time, there was probably no shortage of customers.

According to the show, the vice district of Honolulu serviced 10,000 soldiers a day.
I found it interesting that some of the girls would buy houses in the nicest parts of the island, then put the rumor out that the new owners were working girls. Usually the neighbors would come together and buy the house back from her at a profit. The ingenuity reminds me of a few girls here...
