Trump and russia
Know Trumps passion for deals, do you think something went down between him an Putin. Not to mention the Russian oligarchs. If it is found out to be true, that the Russians and trump influenced the results should he be treated as a traitor?

I don't know if any of that happened, but Congress damned sure needs to investigate this and right away, to clear him of any wrongdoing.
Of course, Drumpf won't find out about it until his weekly briefing...
But based on the way Drumpf and his team are downplaying this (and attacking the entire intelligence community), I wouldn't be surprised if there was some kind of collusion.

Yes as soon as there is collusion you have a pretty clear act of treason. I have NEVER seen a factual refutation of the Russian evidence. There was a small story about a server that was connected to the campaign and communicating with Moscow. I suspect this is the information the CIA has as well.

Those evil Russians and that evil Donald Trump conspired to hack the DNC server in order to show the world that the Democratic party:
1. Screwed Bernie Sanders
2. Favored Hillary Clinton in numerous ways
3. Bought the mainstream media
4. Paid for violence at Trump rallies
I say that the people of the USA should celebrate that someone pulled the curtains on the DNC shenanigans.
In other news:
Hillary Clinton will NEVER be President of the USA!

+1- ......and let's not forget how the Russians tricked all the millions of Americans that went to Trumps rally's.
Those sure are some tricky little Russians to do that.
This stuff is just silliness.

I would also be interested in reading the RNC emails over the last 18 months, I'm sure their behavior was impeccable. If you favor one party over the other blindly, you are taking this country down.

You do not have to prove you are innocent Assup.
The government must prove the crime.

This is serious sh*t. And should be of concern to any American, of any party, that the ability for another nation state to conduct cyber warfare to influence who becomes our President (or the UK's Brexit vote). They are using cyber warfare to achieve their ends... even if you are happy with the outcome (i.e., Trump), you should be concerned about the implication for future events.
I am an Indie, but for those Repubs out here, if this was 4 years ago and Mitt Romney and the RNC was the target for the leaks, the GOP would have been apoplectic... likely far worse than the Dems have been to date. And if the Russians aided the GOP this time, they may decide to aid the Dems or Greens next time.
Trump is, and will be, the President. That's a done deal. I think we need to find out if they really did do this. If so, it is close to, if not an actual, act of war.

I have no quarrel with finding out the truth, and defending ourselves. Certainly, we need to do a better job that Obama's administration has against cyberwarfare. They were too interested in promoting minorities and women rather than those qualified to do the job, so you get what you've got here, which is a victory lap for Putin.
Keep in mind, however, we do the same thing to everyone else, and we helped overthrow the Putin friendly government of the Ukraine, precipitating a civil war and renewed Russian aggression.

Agreed. the election is over. Maybe the president-elect needs to stop playing games with the media and develop a plan to defend our nation against acts of aggression from foreign powers.
This, by all accounts, could be an act of war against the United States and we need to take it seriously. If Drumpf blows himself up over this, so be it. But I have faith he'll acknowledge what's going on and learns what the oath of office means before he takes it.
Congress will not let Russia slide on this.
Obama's got a month left, too.
I have faith.

You do know that Obama knew about this back in October but he did nothing because they all thought Hillary would win.
Now it's a different story. This is so transparent - I mean - we do it to the Russians too -It is not one sided-- if Hillary would of won this would never have been brought to light. Thank God that woman is out- for good.

Russia is running circles around Obama and his failed presidency. I understand that you would like to focus on this one (supposed) hacking event and make bold declarations that the nations sovereignty is under attack.
You mustn't forget that Russia has SO much dirt on Obama with regard to his arming of ISIS fighters in Syria, ISIS oil money operations and Ukrainian "coup" that Obama is toothless. All of Obama's illegal/treasonous activities are coming home to roost. Haven't you noticed the tide turning in Syria? The USA abandoned the rebel fighters because Russia told Obama to get out of the way or face being exposed. Obama got caught with his pants down and the USA is suffering the embarrassment of getting our ass handed to us in the Middle East.
For god's sake, Egypt, yes Egypt is working together with Russia in Syria. I guess Obama's Muslim Brotherhood idea wasn't so good after all.
Your faith in Obama is misplaced. Without doubt, Mr. Obama is a wonderful orator. Unfortunately, he is a huge pussy who avoids conflict like he avoids the plague. Believe it or not, there are some leader's on this planet who will gladly take you behind the woodshed. The way Putin has manipulated Obama is a national disgrace.
As far as Russian hacking is concerned, I would be more inclined to believe the DNC emails were leaked by a disaffected staffer. This hacking bullshit is nothing more that a bunch of losers attempting to portray Hillary as the victim (boo-fucking-hoo) in hopes of distracting the masses from recognizing her obvious crimes. Once Obama is removed from his bully pulpit, the truth will be revealed.
