Is Herman Cain the 2008 version of Sarah Palin?
The more Herman Cain gets interviewed the more gaffes this guy makes- honestly I don't find him too brilliant and I think he(cain) doesn't believe what he says- here's a perfect example:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPKYYDefMV4
Clearly in the beginning Cain takes the Conservative GOP view that Abortion is wrong under ANY circumstance- than when pressed by Piers Morgan about in cases of rape- Cain than says that the decision should be up to the individual and that the government shouldn't make that decision. HELLO MR. CAIN THAT IS THE EXACT POSITION OF LIBERALS!!!
Here is him flip flopping on the same question at a different forum:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WELka...eature=related
Cain clearly says it's the "Woman's" choice and than tries to back out of it when he realizes he put his foot in his mouth LMFAO!!!!

Here's yet another video- Cain said he was against regulation and when asked by Spitzer to name one regulation he couldn't- he clearly has a Sarah Palin moment in this video LMFAO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KvZj...eature=related

I think he's clearly smarter than Palin. But he is clearly uninformed about government and political issues in general and is in way over his head. Of course so are Rick Perry and Michelle Bachmann.

TTH is correct but not complete. IMHO Cain is much, much smarter than Palin. One thing Cain has that no other candidate, except Gary Johnson (who?), has is a plan. As for gaffes, let's not forget Mr. 57 states, whose parents after seeing 8 years in the future decided to conceive him. Obama has as many gaffes as any candidate, right Corps- man Brashear?
Cain, to me, is the most Reaganesque candidate. Even if you disagreed with Reagan (about 40% did), at least you knew where he was coming from. That is the biggest problem since 1984, politicians and not leaders. Give me a leader over a politician any day. I want someone willing to run on their record. Obama can't run on his record as President, he never had one before. Romney, in theory, could run on a record but I don't think the record was that good. Perry, yawn.

l et's be fair- you obviously know that Obama knows there 50 states and not 57- clearly it was a gaffe- just last week Bachmann said :"the nation of Nebraska" and not the "State of Nebraska" she clearly knows that Nebraska is a State.
However, a gaffe and not knowing what the fuck you are talking about is two different things. Cain CLEARLY had no idea what the "Right to Return" was- which to me if you are running for President you have to know some Middle East history. When Cain was asked questions about name one regulation he would change- he couldn't name one- that's irresponsible and not being prepared,
For example, if I said :"some of the amendments in the constitution needs to be changed and then I was asked which ones- and I reply: "I can't tell you which ones but some of them need to be changed" would I not lose credibility?
Cain was simply stating "talking facts" without knowing the details of what he believes. Look at how he answered criticism to his 9-9-9 plan- his response in the debate was: "go to my webpage and look at the analysis" or "you are comparing apples to oranges" he simply doesn't have the skills to back up what he preaches.
If you think Cain did well in his interview with Spitzer you are being way too generous and are you telling me he wasn't flip flopping on his abortion stance? At this stage you can't keep going back and doing do- overs- he claimed he was misquoted on the Electric fence- he said he misunderstood the question about releasing terrorist to Al-Queada in exchange for a soldier- he clearly said it should not be the government telling people what to do concerning Abortion(the pro-choice) stance than says Abortion should NEVER happen. Cain is clueless!

I don't believe the "Liberals" are scared of Cain. If they are scared of any of the Republican Party's current lineup of 7 or 8 Drawfs, it would be Romney. He is the only one with a snowball's chance in hell of beating Obama in a head to head matchup!
Just sayin'

Well
There is one thing for sure. The current occupant of the White House has pretty well proven he is in over his head. Everybody knew his credentials were weak, but they drank the coolaid anyway.
We have got to do better. Like many, I don't see it in the field as of now.
I am beginning to wish that Hillary would jump ship and run, on the platform that it would be four more years of Bill. Heck, it would sure be better than what we have now.
Think of the entertainment value of Hillary getting caught ala Bill, with Jeaneane Garofalo's head between her legs.

Could Hypothetically Joe Biden step down and Obama appoint Hilary as VP- or are there rules that would prevent that from happening? I think either Hillary or Obama would be much better than any one on the other side- would not be upset if Hilary was POTUS.
