It looks like a fake to me but a very good one.
The patina in the eysockets and on the teeth
are kind of a giveaway, also the smoothness
of edges and too much of a molded look.
Supposedly they have done some testing on it
though, but who knows how much of that is true.

I think it's pretty funny, mathematically & scientifically that people think we are the only intelligent life forms; what's the probability of that? Now, I'm not going all conspiracy theory mode here... but, if they were advanced enough to either visit us or evolve & leave; I don't think they would have very much interest in us & we would have little to offer them...
