TOP Hartford , Stamford & Boston( Back Bay) Japanese restaurants - Help

This summer I will be visiting the New England area pretty often and I would love to make a list of good quality Japanese restaurants. Hartford, Stamford or Boston would serve me well since I'll be there.

I logged on yelp since that's my go to but unfortunately I still can't get my heart set on something.

Welcome to Boston!

If you like sushi, Shino on Newbury St is my absolute favorite and has been for years. They have a nice outdoor seating area this time of year, so it's much easier to get a table.

They do have other Japanese dishes on the menu, but I do believe sushi is the hallmark of the restaurant.

If you're in town on a Thursday, I'd love to grab some food with you!

I'm just now logging on and seeing this message! I really appreciate it.
I ended up going some place else. I don't know what it is about Japanese restaurants but I love it lol. If we ever cross paths that would definitely be a sweet treat for the both of us lol.
