Travel delays

So was fixing the travel back to Texas and my flight gets delayed because my plane broke down and they are waiting for parts to be delivered to Miami so so they can fix the plane and then pick everybody up from the Orlando Airport so decided to get them to accommodate a hotel room for the nights because I'm a little paranoid about jumping on a broken plane I mean I don't know how anybody else feels about this but that's a little scary to me because I don't like flying what's everybody else's opinion on this cuz there was also no connecting or partner flights to take to get back to Texas by tonight as well

I just flew into Florida Orlando area and my flight was delayed too first outta Vegas and we sat on runway waiting for take off for additional 30 mins after the delay the app said we took off then connecting flights were all delayed I missed getting my rental car and had to get it next day they opened up they charged me more..all in all it's cost us time and more Money to fly anywhere
