Benghazi: Rescue forces ordered to stand down by White House

A new thread because of new information.

An armed rescue force at the CIA annex requested permission three times to go to the consulate and render aid. Three times they were told to stand down. The third time they disobeyed orders, went to the consolate, and brought back the survivors from the consulate a mile away. They came under attack and requested military aid from any source. Spector gun ships (C-130s) were available two hours away in Italy, a SEAL team was also standing by, and two navy ships were within range to offer support. None were ordered to intervene. However, we now know that two drones were orbiting overhead watching events unfold. I even understand that they captured three terrorist but ordered to let them go to the milita's.



I hope the coward had popcorn.

Obama pretty much let this intelligence site be overrun just like we let a highly classified drone just "landed" in Iran. Does anyone else see a pattern of giving up classified information to our enemies. The T word is on the tip of my tongue.

This story is much bigger than just a cover up of Obama's failure to protect our consulate. Obama's handling of this entire situation doesn't add up. There's something we're not being told. It appears that Obama was desparate to hide what was going on in the consulate. Glenn Beck says ambassador Stevens was running guns to Syria brokered through Turkey. Stevens had a meeting with a the General Counsel of Turkey the evening of the attack.
