Reckon we're all about to find out. ...

But the upside for Judge Merchan is by sticking with this idiotic charade he will still get invited to all of The Left’s cocktail parties.

How ironic that Trump is desperate to win the election to keep his ass out of jail. He'll be in court for the next 2-3 years.
Got news for you bro, we are all felons, just have not been caught

When you cheapen the Judicial Process with ridiculous charades as these “Lawfare” trials against political enemies, they become worthless in the eyes of the Voters.

The old saying…..”a DA can get a Ham Sandwich indicted” has now carried over to……”a DA in New York with a New York Jury and a New York Judge can get a Ham Sandwich convicted”.

That is why the majority of the voters throughout the Country said……”who cares?”

To be clear, it matters not all how biased a prosecutor might be. I’ve been there. The case is decided by a jury. Of course I get the vibe that you have no respect for our system of jurisprudence, which is shameful. Move to Moscow. Or wait, Trump will reinvent out systems of governance based on the Soviet model. .Still, Teflon John Gotti has nothing on Super Teflon Don Gotti, whops, I meant Don Trump. I know how I’m investing, heavy into inflationary commodities, the mining of rare earth metals, etc. Substantial investments in defense centric companies like Raytheon (my favorite), but also BAE, Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, and Boeing. In mining of rare earth metals, I like …. No one cares. Trump will make me richer, though I despise the super morbidly obese fat retard.

Where's tigbitties?

Seems like he bumped his own thread (after it lay dormant for almost 2 months) just to take a swipe at Tiny. Then he disappeared.

Tigbitties says he's the only guy here who understands New York law.

If the OP is such an expert, why won't he come back and explain to the rest of us legal ignoramuses exactly what felonious crime trump was "convicted" of?

New York is basically the same system as Russia. The Jury was all Democrats most likely, so not even remotely a jury of piers.

The AG and Judge should both be disbarred for not following law.

That's the whole idea in life. Don't get caught. It never happened if you don't get caught.

He faced 34 criminal charges of falsifying business records in the first degree related to payments made to Stormy Daniels before the 2016 presidential election. The trial began on April 15, 2024; [D]ump was found guilty on all 34 counts on May 30, 2024.
Ignoramus for sure.

Do I need to be more specific? You want exactly?

I called it long before it happened. Ask Waco. He posted it would be interesting, and I responded with an image of his signature and Stormy waving hello to close.

Yes, I want exactly. Read my posts #95-96. Cite the specific language of the specific NY law(s) he was alleged to have violated. If it was a misdemeanor statute, how did he get "convicted" of a felony?

Has anyone else been prosecuted, let alone "convicted", under the same law(s) using the same legal reasoning? Or is trump's case unique and unprecedented?

Too bad our resident legal expert tigbitties isn't here to share his intimate, detailed scholarly knowledge of New York law with us ignoramuses.

After reading the below in the article, what was the point in trying this felony case again (rhetorical question)? What a waste of tax dollars... like I posted earlier in this thread, all felonies are hardly to be considered equal. A fucking speeding ticket is more punitive than this bullshit. Haha

https://apnews.com/article/trump-hus...8b0ea32193e8c4

Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Amy Coney Barrett joined with the court’s three liberals in rejecting his emergency motion.

They found his sentencing wouldn’t be a serious burden since Merchan has indicated he won’t give Trump jail time, fines or probation. Trump’s arguments against the verdict, meanwhile, can be handled as part of the regular appeals process, the majority found.

... Which is Grand - because when the lawfare against Trump
boomerangs - which it will soon - the Supreme Court won't
let anyone else escape a sentence decision. ... ...

... No matter, as Trump's "conviction" will be overturned on appeal.
