LL, there's been a lot of comments from people and opinion; however, you seem to come from some position of facts as a Coco everywhere was anecdotal evidence from guys visiting establishments, which you don't seem to have. My facts and opinion are as I've tried to connect the dots based upon the legislative history of the law involved and experience.
Further research into human trafficking and grants, show me one grant here for human trafficking that will affect the industry but not be connected to anything in particular at AMPS:
https://www.justice.gov/humantraffic...sources/grants
Yup 101 million and I'd bet about 95% of the funds go to combating child sex trafficking, as most of the funding seems to go to, which I'm sure 99.99% of the guys on ECCIE would agree with and OK to use their own tax dollars on.
So, since you have no evidence of visiting an establishment (ever), and don't have any combating opinions and supposed facts, show some facts or leave the discussion. From my perspective you don't have a dog in the fight otherwise and when you have nothing better to say, it's sometimes time to shut up.

A grant is not a budgeted item. The funding will run out...

And of course no one on here has ever embellished a review or just made stuff up. What is truth and what is fiction?

You seem to perceive that those who post bullshit reviews know more than someone who doesn't. Of course, I wouldn't want to mischaracterize your bullshit. And if I've done so, please let me know.
Have you ever participated in obtaining Federal funding and the following reporting of activity with respect to how the funds are utilized when the target is law enforcement programs?* The "legislative" history for what? An increase in the penalties? Really?
I will repeat what you posted: "...it's sometimes time to shut up."
*A remote example for your edification, but it may be before your birth. The Clinton (Bill) initiative to "increase" the police forces of cities around the country. Clinton-Gore claimed they "added" 100,000 officers under the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act. They didn't. The agencies took existing officers out of administrative duty and put them on the street (the simple version) ... and reporting that they increased "patrol" was the acceptable response. Part of that bill implemented a program to increase college educated LE, but agencies recruited "degreed" officers from other departments by increasing their earnings with Fed funds. Do you really believe the loonatics in D.C. "monitor" local activity?
The increasing of penalties has the deterrent effect, but also opens up funding opportunities with respect to grants that might not otherwise be available for misdemeanors. Please take a look at the national crime statistics reported by the FBI. Do you see a lot of misdemeanors? And just from where do you "think" the FBI gets those stats?
Now about your "experience"?
https://www.harriscountyconstable4.c...ry_results.php
See any "Coco"s? I do notice that ALL the REPORTED 2020 activity was ... errr.... "Random"!
Beginning in September please "enjoy" your list of felonies reflecting your "experience"!

LL-You're reinforcing exactly why you should not participate in this conversation. First up, if you never partake in any AMP or other activities, then none of this is even relevant to you. Why anybody would invest the time to make 49k posts, when you don't even receive any benefit excluding some self illusory 'one upsmanship' as a keyboard commando.
No, I've never participated in obtaining federal funding for a law enforcement program. No, have you? If you did you REALLY shouldn't be on ECCIE. I certainly hope that wasn't an accidental admission.
The legislative history is referencing all the TX House bills Senfronia is sending, all of which are available and you can look up her history too. She's been trying to get a bill like this passed for oh, 20 years.
And no, the Clinton bill certainly was not before my birth. IDK how you brought in Fed or FBI issues when neither of those even apply to this issue at hand, it's a STATE law; however, age does not equate experience and you make this fact obvious. Seems you keep looking in the past rather than the present and that's obvious from multiple angles as you seem reticent to recognize the obvious.
Pct. 4 has been referenced here about 100x already. There's other precincts in the city at various levels of enforcement. Now go back under your bridge troll, I've already passed your bridge and I'm already in another precinct!!

Since I'm inevitably going to have a strike on my record for going down in the muck with you I might as well take the opportunity to say what everybody in the room is thinking:
You're a pretentious asshole.
You sit back and judge everybody else's comments as 'bullshit'. You impart all your 'knowledge' and seem pretty pessimistic when guys share real intel. I do what will help this board in sharing info. You do nothing but bring this board down.
I sure as hell hope you're a long term paid member, or lifetime member, as otherwise the cost of your posts for ECCIE's hosting is a complete waste of processing power and electricity and a net negative on the board. Don't even get me started about how useless your 'information' and opinion are. Bring in ONE cited comment as fact, just ONE. Secondarily, bring in ONE review, just ONE, or you have 0 credibility in my mind.
Nobody else on this board incenses me more than you and your worthless pretentiousness. If my account is going down in flames like a Led Balloon (let's see if your ageism catches that reference) it might as well be taking the great Camry driving, lexus lusting, king sitting on a pile of complete crap down to the level we're all standing on.
P.S. I believe I saw your car in Katy as it matches your MO, a real pretentious ass. It was an older, 3-5 yr. old LS 430 which had a vanity plate of 'GAASP' as if an old ass mid-line 'luxury' car would take my breath for a second. No, you have to go to at least a 6 figure car to catch my breath. The driver was a 50's white guy. Seems quite fitting for you given your tastes and approach. If I'm right, no worries, we'll keep this little secret among ourselves, ssshhhh.

I'm sorry you have insufficient knowledge of Federal grants and funding of LE local activities.
Perhaps you should broaden your knowledge base before contributing to a discussion.
"legislative history"? Are you trying to hide your ignorance?
Oh, so you won't waste so much time fretting about it, I am not as insecure as you are.

So you focus on the law and intricacies and ignore every single other logical point I outlined. I guess my cited comments with hyperlinks are just trumped by what, your trump logo? I'm sure there's a great reason for your low-effort reply: you cannot counter a single point of mine! I'm not insecure, but that was a well thought out come back from you, high quality response...it took a couple of hours, huh?
I'll say it and if you agree with me please like this posting to show it and to show LL-'Your unsubstantiated opinion really isn't welcome here'
No, that's not reporting somebody's 'hobby ride', whatever that is, just a vanity license plate on a real lexus for a real pompous ass. Sorry if I mixed up some other lexus-driving pompous ass with you but I hope you understand, it's hard to differentiate you two!
Finally, why do you keep coming back to this conversation!? If you don't hobby why even care to come back to ECCIE let alone this thread on legal issues? You make no sense and yes, your opinion is worthless.

JFF, Do yourself a favor and put LL on ignore, as I did long ago.
Tens of thousands of posts, zero reviews, and this on a review site. No further background facts are needed in order to provide: (i) proof of the shear madness of someone that would spend that amount of time in such an absurd way, or (ii) the bases of an apt characterization of this person. To wit, obviously LL has grievous psychological problems combined with legendary village idiot status.
Simply put him on ignore and you will never see his absurdities again. Instead, you will only see following message - "This message is hidden because LexusLover is on your ignore list." He may now post something about my post and I don't care as I will never see it.

I know it's going to piss a bunch of you off. In a year I am going to bump this thread and restart the drama.
We'll see who was right in their predictions and will see who was full of shit

Maybe this and other sites like it won’t be around in a year, just saying. I’ll be looking for the bump though, in a year.
