I will say this. If a person feels really strong about this. Do something otherb than vent on a escort board. Spend time at a womans shelter or donate a pile of money. Something. Anything. But all this hangem high mentality on a hooker board is a waste of your so called outrage. And please do not compare wtf you would do at a coffee shop with this. Please that don't impres me much. And think before you acuse others on a hooker board of derfending rapist. That don't play well in my neck of the woods

Those are just the facts.

From what I read each football game was pulling in a little over 6million dollars per game. Makes me wonder if there was motivation to keep things quiet as not to lose all that money.

I think even us degenerates on a SHMB know what should have been done. Now we have to wait and see what will happen, and to whom.

Don't be absurd. My daughter would never do such a thing. Get personal all you want. It damages your agreement and mitigates your point(s) as well as mitigating you.
I know exactly what I would do. I almost got fired from a very large oil field services company for reporting that the production manager was simulating having sex over the loud speaker one Saturday when two of my subordinates were working. They came to me Monday and told me the story. I immediately went to my boss who happened to be the president of the division. My boss said he his hands were tied. He couldn't do anything about it because the production manager was too valuable to loose. My subordinates and myself would just have to understand that. It was for the good of the entire company bla, bla, bla.
I took it to the holding company's HR the next morning. Apparently the mother ship didn't feel that sexual harassment of this nature was acceptable. The production manager was terminated and he lost his visa to stay in the States. I ended up getting a six figure separation check from said company less than two mouths later. So I guess I kind of did get fired for it. But I did the right thing, and I got a big fat check to boot.
You are not listening to not only what I've said, but has come out in the media. They've all admitted to their woefully inept handling of the issue. They were fired because the did nothing just as they admitted to doing nothing. You are talking circles around yourself. You know how I can tell? You're breaking the rules of engagement at a rate that is excessive even for you. You are ignoring the facts; you are getting personal; and you are using foul and abusive language. Good luck with your truth and your crusade.

Ok, you wanna argue that we really don't know how we would have reacted under similar circumstances? Fair enough, and to a certain extent you may have a point. But, and this is a big but, we know how we should have reacted, do we not? Is there any debate on that? And we know that the people involved did not do what they should have done. And sorry, WTF, that is all out in the open....we don't need to wait for a jury to have the final say on that one.

Liberal scum don't read, that's why you didn't see it......Olivia thinks long posts will get read, but they don't........she is 100% right on this Penn State thing.......
a lot of times people do know what they will do in a given situation, even if they have never been in a similar situation before....of course you can't understand that WDF, because it requires a good moral compass............

You brought up your daughter, not me. Maybe joepa thought the same thing about his friend. No way he could o that. You make the perfect argument for why he may have done as he did...as to you points of name calling. You imply that anyone that does not agree with you is protecting rapist when you get called ignorant for such nonsense, you then cry about being called an ignorant bitch. Next time you might wanna watch how you word calling someone protecting rapist. Marshall we you disagree with me, I know I am on the right track. I would castrate you on general principal and to save the world any chance of anymore of your dan escaping

Well there you have it. I actually thought better of you. Guess I was wrong. Again, good luck with your crusade, but you lost the debate when you got personal and petty. Sorry, but that's the way of the world.
You don't think passive behavior is wrong when dealing with child rapers; I do. You don't see the lost logic in defending those that have admitted their guilt; I do. You don't see the loss of face when one tries to degrade one's opponent; I do. You get so wrapped up in the moment that you can't spare the time to examine your thought processes and back up when you are proven to be wrong; I can and do. In fact I believe we've had a phone conversation about my inaccuracies and I publically (sp - my stupid Blackberry - as well as me - can't figure out how to spell it.) acknowledged my error. Call me what ever names you want to, but it doesn't make it true or your point any more valid.
I've tried to bid you peace. Don't take the offering of a draw; I don't care. In the end you have your opinion and I have mine. That's just how it is. We don't have to agree.

This thing is going to drag on for a long time.... sad for so many reasons...just reinforces the philosophy that problems do not age well
1) they all knew....
2) they had plenty of time to act and did not
3) they followed policy vs. doing what is "right"
4) they took the easy way out vs. tainting their reputations
5) they got caught up believing in their own version of the facts...

ok.... I have a bit of East Coast College Football experience, albeit from the late 80's - before Div1 became the moola juggernaut that it is today.... My experience is that the head coach of a "normal" Div 1 program is pretty much equal to a CEO of mid-sized business.... PR/spokesperson, general manager, HR mgr and strategy and Ops expert to name a few.... there is no way that he can track and oversee everyone and every thing... thus the need for a mgmt organization that does his bidding...
Now, Penn State is much more than the average program - that we all know... and Joe was the king in the castle, arguably more powerful than the Univ president...
I kinda agree with what Barry Switzer said a few days ago - he is convinced that Joe knew about this - Jerry was blackballed and forced to retire at the peak of his coaching and earning potential... no other program ever came after him since he "retired".... the word was on the street that he was "Persona nan Grata"... Joe and Jerry spent pretty much 30 yrs glued at the hip... yet at his "retirement" dinner, Joe is said to have "arrived late, spoke for only a few minutes, then left immediately - his brief and limited comments, in retrospect, now viewed through a totally different lens, can perhaps now be more fully understood.... he was going through the motions.... to close this issue out.
My fear is that there will be more issues outside of the growing # of victims that are coming forward.... I bet we will hear of payments and hush money being paid.... amongst other things

WTF, what has got you so upset that people see the real Joe Paterno? Are you a Penn State Alum? What is it? And don't give me the fairness bullshit, because you are no paragon of fairness here. Why do you choose this rare occasion to go to bat for a rape coverup? Where is your dog in this hunt?

Leslie Dutchcot, Judge Who Granted Jerry Sandusky Bail, Is Second Mile Volunteer.
Does this help him or hurt him? Didn't hurt much as far as Bail went. 100,000 unsecured vs what the prosecution wanted of 500,000 and an ankle bracelet.
