You Clearly are full of yourself but that is another story. If you know anything about anything, then you would know that to be the best, you have to beat the best. Mayweather never faced the best (his choice), much less beat the best. Mayweather feared the best so he chose the easier path, he hand picked his opponents, padded his record and stayed undefeated. I'm not criticizing Mayweather for being scared, fear is a natural instinct and there is no shame in having fear. Fear is our emotional response to dangerous circumstances that we believe have the potential to cause death, injury or illness. So as far as many of us are concerned, being undefeated does not make you the best.

Let's agree that some folks are FW fans while many others are not. One thing we can agree on however, he is undefeated and he is the champ.

You were smart enough to know you didn't have what it takes to be a real boxer and you stopped while you were ahead, unlike that tailcoat riding mini-me of yours (the player) who sound like he took one too many shots to the head; he would have benefitted by taking occasional 8 count or taking a knee.

Instead of talking sh*t about a guy who's UNDEFEATED and the HIGHEST PAID ATHLETE IN THE WORLD, why don't you talk sh*t about the guys he beat?
Give us an example of somebody who can beat floyd. Manny had plenty of chances to fight floyd and he turned them down every time. Now manny's finally ready to agree to terms only because he needs every dollar he can get so he can pay delinquent taxes.
Pacquiao's a good guy and a great fighter but his managers and promoters have put him in a bad situation. They shot him up full of roids, they pimped him out, they squandered all his money leaving him in debt, and now pac's having to beg floyd for a payday simply because he needs the money badly.

I'm a huge boxing fan..and follow the sport of boxing since I was a kid.
Love him or hate him....Mayweather is undefeated. Can he pick his opponents? yes Is it right/wrong? Who knows. Fact is, being the undisputed champion at this point in his career he can pick his opponents.
Bob Arum imo is a piece of shit and has fucked Pac mans career in more ways than one. Pacman fucked up by wants an even purse split with Mayweather which is bullshit. Yup..he needs the money now which is why he is conceding to Mayweather's demands...
Either way, it's going to be a good fight...I already booked my hotel for that weekend in anticipation...

Are you going to the fight or just hanging out. I started to book a fight of his but the price tag for nosebleeds i was considering was about 18k for the 2 seats. I finally opted to save money and watch from home. Even if you dont go to the actual fight there will be fun and festivities all around. I'm thinking about going but I likely wont pay to go to the actual fight.

^^^ I am definitely going to try and get some tickets when I am there. With a fight like that buying a ticket ahead of time is only a guarantee of one thing - that is going to be super expensive. I will see if I can get a last minute ticket the day of the fight or even the hour or two just prior and if not, then fuck it I will watch it some place cool there in LV....there is going to be plenty of parties and I am sure tons of hookers in town for this one....

Ohh yeah plenty of parties. My only suggestion on last minute deals is dont get screwed over. Check out Stub Hub and Dynamic tickets and keep checking prices. Cost for a fight like this probably wont change whether early, at the mid-way point, or even late because big money players and corporate buyers who can afford to take a loss will purchase up all the tickets so there will likely be no price breaks. I've seen people pay big money to scalpers only to find they got a raw deal when trying to actually get in the door.
Also if you wait till the last minute its going to be hard to get into any of the worthwhile parties due to the guaranteed massive crowds. I'm only saying this from experience, if you know you wont pay for the actual fight book a live fight party at one if the Casino's and you're gauranteed to bump into escorts galore along with a ton of celebrities. One person I'm sure you'll run into pre or post fight party is Mike Tyson. Lol
Either way you'll have a good time. You will find no shortage of escorts and especially at Mandalay Bay.
Edit: the escorts will face competition from the non escort ladies so it's likely you wont have to pay for shit if you play your cards right.

I have followed boxing all my life. I was an amateur boxer and later turning pro while going to college. I could argue all day long who dodged who. But lets face, neither camp worked hard to make this fight happen. It's not unusual over the years to see a boxer avoid another champ, or a highly ranked boxer that simply wouldn't be good for them. Look at the fights Sugar Ray Leonard fought. He seemingly fought the toughest appointments throughout 4 weight categories. But, he did indeed dodge one fighter, he wanted no part of Aaron Pryor. Aaron was awkward and next to impossible to train for. Aaron could have give SRL one hell of a fight, if not beaten him.
All of the above being said, now that both MP and Mayweather are towards the end of their careers, I hope they can put the fight together.

True words. You never know for sure when you're going to face some cat with an average record who happens to be a terrible match-up for your own personal ass and just gives you fits and you can't seem to do nothing right in the actual ring when you have already beat up on dudes like they was rented mules who beat up on him like he was a red-headed stepchild. Go figure. College football ain't the only case where this kind of thing occurs.
