Q) What do they call the person that graduates last in their class in Med school?
A) Doctor

Q) Biden claims he graduated in the top percent of his class. What ranking was he?
A) #76 out of 85, landing him easily in the top 90% of his class.

Chump has buried his academic records.

Much as he has his Tax Returns.

You should stick to your Ciphering !

I don't think you could gain entrance to a Med School ; to even end up Graduating in last place and be called a Doctor.

Getting into Medical School depends on your color as much as your grades and test scores. The few white guys left who get to enter are pretty sharp.

The others...not sure about them.

She said "no" in a defiant manner. I had to break the horrible and traumatic news to her that her dad is 4 years older than I am.

I don't feel that entrance exams measure anything other than intelligence and I don't think they're a great indicator of success in school. I can absolutely rock the hell out of entrance tests (I've taken 3 of the big 4--- only missing the GRE)... but I get incredibly bored with the process of school itself. Which.. has impacted my success as an adult-- and thanks to the folly of my youth, I'm decades behind where I should have been.

I agree. One of the girls I dated when I was going to school for my bullshit MBA degree scored pretty low on the GMAT compared to the university average score and would always joke with me that if she was not an Hispanic female, she would have never been accepted and she was absolutely correct about that. I'm sure her GPA was a lot higher than mine was because I hardly went to class and she studied her ass off for 2 years.

I scored over a 100 points higher than her on the GMAT but I was a bum. I treated obtaining my MBA degree like it was a 2 year vacation. I hardly ever went to class unless it was a quiz or a test. One of my Jewish friends I met at this university asked me why I even bothered going to school because I didn't even go to class. I smiled and just told him an MBA degree is just a necessary evil for what I do and that I don't give a fuck about school; and I only care about the money I'll make after I'm done with this school shit. He was a little perplexed by my answer but I was just being honest with him.

Obama refused to release his undergrad transcripts too. what's he hiding? Trump probably had average grades and doesn't want it known. he did graduate because that much has been confirmed by Penn. but Trump would have to authorize release of his transcripts. to graduate his gpa had to be at least 2.5 .. a C just to get the paper.

so what was Obama hiding? bad grades? or something else like he claimed foreign national student status? that would be a crime since we all know he's an american citizen. it's called fraud and possibly other things illegal.

it's probably both based on this ... wasn't a good student and since he had (may still have) Indonesian citizenship. i bet he quietly renounced that in order to clear it as an issue when he started his political career.

So how did Barack Obama fare in college?

It’s unclear how well he did as an undergraduate, although he was not a distinguished student. Obama refuses to release his transcript from his undergraduate years. According to an article in the Wall Street Journal, Obama was not well-known among classmates after he transferred to Columbia University from Occidental College in the early 1980s. The article quotes a former roommate who states that Obama’s performance improved after he stopped taking drugs (which Obama has admitted to openly). Since Obama did not graduate with honors, that means his GPA was between a 2.0 and a 3.3 — although, since he was admitted to Harvard Law School, it’s hard to imagine his GPA was much lower than a 3.3.

i disagree with one part above .. i don't know of any university that would issue a degree with a gpa of 2.0. that should read 2.5 unless Columbia has lower standards than most other colleges??

Obama graduated from Columbia in 1983 with a degree in political science. He specialized in international relations.

Law school was another story for Obama. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School (the second highest honor available) in 1991. He also was the first black president of the Harvard Law Review, a very prestigious honor.

looks like dropping out of the Choom gang helped his Harvard grades. who knew? Obama certainly wouldn't be the first student with average grades to kick it up a notch in grad school.

You need a 2.0 in order to graduate from college (and maintain financial aid, etc). I have no clue where you're getting 2.5 from. Some programs require a 2.5 or a 3.0 (Nursing is one that often comes to mind.. and some engineering programs... and many "pre" degree programs). But.. to graduate with a basic degree in most subjects, you only need a 2.0.

I absolutely agree with you in that they are basically standardized tests of intelligence.

However, intelligence gives you greater odds of success, especially if you are interested in a subject and work hard. Lack of interest in school work tends to impair the benefit of going to the school in most cases, other than the credentialing aspect.

My problem has always been one of ADHD. I get into a subject and focus on NOTHING but that subject for a bit... then I get bored and move on to the next. It has been a problem since childhood. The good part is.. I'm the BEST partner to have for Trivia Night....
