You couldn't be more wrong. Probably 80% of the national viewers tune in for two reasons:
1. to see the Cowpukes pounded into the turf
2. to see the remnants of Tex Shill's Cowbag Cheerleaders. They used to get lots more air time when they were more pneumatic, now they're just a stale version of the Rockettes who carry pom poms.

Kidding aside......the "America's Team" moniker still cracks me up to this day.....Dallas was dubbed as such by a VP of marketing at NFL Films which ironically is located less than 80 miles away from where divisional rival New York Football Giants Stadium is located. They never checked with Schramm or Landry (nor Clint Murchison) about this name either.....just slung it out there in 1978 or so and it's been a such ever since..

Cowboy fans never asked for this nickname in the first place....however, it's probably deserving in the fact that every one of the networks' head honchos would give their left testicle to have the Cowboys as their Game of the Week if given the choice.

The Cowboys are Gold for the networks and every year the numbers bear that out....for instance, the top game for each network in 2012 (ESPN, FOX, NBC, CBS and the NFL Network) was the Dallas Cowboys....and "somebody else".

Not sure if there are polls to back up your point (80% or more want to see Dallas get beaten) but no matter. It doesn't change the fact people across the country do tune in to watch them, win, lose or draw.

Dallas has lost 4 out of 8 game so far this year..........by a grand total of 14 points. Two 1 pointers, a 3 pointer and 9 pointer.

That is a great improvement from a few years ago. They are on track.

Last year all the linebackers were on IR and lots of injuries in the defensive secondary. They improved these areas with return of the injured players and what happens.....the defensive line goes to hell. They have a lot of guys playing their heart out on the d line, but it is nothing compared to what it would have been with Ware, Ratliff, Hatcher and Spencer all healthy and playing......I doubt Manning would have come anywhere close to 51 points. He would have spent to much time on his butt.

There is no "wait until next year" so long as this rambling idiot remains this team's GM. This Hillbilly expects different results each season yet continues to run things the same way.....no plan, no commitment to the basics....nothing but fluff and fanfare. He learned NOTHING from the time when Jimmy ran things...and then Parcells. What a fool.

His current (coaching staff) is a collection of knuckleheads.....Garrett continues to discover new ways to botch winnable games. This franchise went 750 plus games and never gaffed a 21 point lead, ever......yet Garrett has managed to do it twice in less than 40 games. Ivy League educated coach? Yeah, right...

And the owner / GM has the audacity to come out after yesterday's game (after blowing a 26-3 halftime lead) to say "The Cowboys still control their own destiny this season.....that the NFC East crown and the playoffs are there for the taking".

Your team is a collection of miserable misfits, Jerry.....coaches and players alike. What makes you think this is a successful season if this crap team wins this sh*tty division? You are a fool, Jerry, if you believe it....or worse yet....if you think we believe it.
