They looked at him early on ... claimed to do a residue test on him .. based on his motivation. He was apparently arrested on a charge of "terroristic threats" with a $ 1 million bond .... according to the news media.

Your intimate knowledge of the decision making ... is lacking to say the least ....

.....it's "widely known" among those who don't know what they are talking about, but like to sound "trendy" ... and undoubtedly "makes points" on a hooker board with lots of folks whining about LE ruining their fun.

The worst thing that can be done in the current situation with Kaufman County is for a focused investigation to concentrate on a "sitting duck" who had a "motive" while the real shooter or shooters are still on the street. First, it doesnt' explain the threats made against other DA's including here in Houston. Secondly, it gives others a "reason" to relax their security and precautions. Third, it provides the real killers (if they are wrong) an opportunity to "disappear" and later on use the erroneous accusations as a defense.

"I doubt many people here would have a problem with LE going after human traffickers or those who exploit minors...but they wanna lump everyone in the same category regardless if they hobby "responsibly" or not.....why?....it always comes down to revenue." Russ88.

When it has to do with the "hobby" ... its "lumping" ... that's what you do.

My preference is for LE to do their job, dot the i's and t's, and make sure they have THE person who did the crime .... and not the media or rumor mongers.

The powers to be in Harris County are assaulting the SOB's from various directions and perspectives with the County Attorney's Office leading the charge on the business side.

When raids are made there have been "hobbyists" present (using that term loosely for customers) and sting operations have been working both directions too. None of this is new .. it just is a little more "official" publicity. They are getting additional funding for it.

Roughly 30 years ago a well-known madam in San Antonio was charged and prosecuted until the issue of "the book" hit the press, and the potential problem with many names in "the book" .... we have computers now. A broad net catches junk fish and some who are a "protected" species.

If one keeps to the higher level of the "food chain" one will most likely avoid .... the broad net. Spelunkers on the BP .. may want to take it easy.

S.A. is still rolling with hotties. So will the Houston area.

#2: I LOATHE the small minds and power trippers in the criminal justice system. I do as well, to which I will add ... those outside of the criminal justice system, although it has been my experience that most of them in the criminal justice system are females trying to "prove themselves" by over compensating to "establish" themselves as significant. An affliction that often infects those who have been restricted in their opportunities in the past. Fortunately, those are in the minority.

LOL....must be that time of year again.....more than anything, all the back and forth exchanges have been an entertaining way of passing some time....so I admit Im partly guilty of fanning the flames..... The original topic is very relevant and important to hobbying but it never ceases to amaze me how some actually take the "spin off" shit so seriously.
