Explanations of satire and sarcasm are never short; but here we go:

Your signature used to say "pron". Typo or not, it was still accurate. Why? Because early searches, filters, prying eyes, etc. could easily tell what "porn" is. However, if you typed "pron" or "pr0n" then you could essentially search for or talk about porn in *secret* (~wooooooooo ~ahhhhhhh; but not really). This was started very early in internet days in games/chats/forums/etc. People not familiar with internet slang seem confused by seeing it instead of "porn".

So, this leads to them asking. Why they couldn't be bothered to just ask Google and find the answer leads to the running joke of old people not understanding the internet. Or, in the case of Eccie, they're more likely trying to just stoke the fire of drama/dog-piling. Esp. since it's been asked about before, in this very forum. I also find it more towards the latter point when someone asks publicly vs privately. Also given who asks, you can usually draw a correlation.

Also, homonym is on the "pron" vs "prawn" front.

Some guys will accept any risk to bb and it should be assumed by other providers that any one who reviews you did. So dudes who see you will end up on the DNS list of other providers. Or they just won't openly admit to seeing you because of future issues with other providers
