I wish the focus was on THIS site instead of Indy’s. I do all my fun on SA and it’s a fucking blast but I enjoy this also from time to time and from the ads I see there are not many options.
Why is that??? Why do so few advertise here?

Actually, more girls are joining here and I suspect more will. What options do they have? As far as discussing Indy’s, it was the dominant site in Pgh for 15yrs. People are going to talk about it.

As Bam noted, more providers have joined ECCIE and more have started advertising here in Pittsburgh. With the old Indys shut down and their new site a disastrous ghost town, I suspect even more will join here.

Also, remember, providers here can place one ad a week and one for weekend availability - so 2 max each week. This differs from Indys where they would run the same ad each and every day

I do think it is important that when guys see some of those providers advertising here, they make it clear they saw their ECCIE ad so word of mouth can continue to spread

I think it’s kind of sad. In its day Indys was a fun place where people more alas looked after each other. At least that’s how I remember it. The “New Indys” just won’t be what the “Old Indys” was. I have more or less left the hobby scene so I’m probably not the best person to judge. It seems to me that Indys has been at shell of itself for at least five years. I’d say the tipping point was Cleveland.

In any event, at least hobby people still have places to go.

I think this is great, but it might be "right now" incompatible with why some girls are in the biz (from a habit-feeding perspective) and with how some guys hobby (last minute).


Nonetheless, I've looked for a few days after the old site was shutdown, and you note that the volume of ads that held out on the old site during the "transition" to what is appearing on the new site? It isn't even close.


This is one of those things where the whole "social media" layout may be important from a technology (it's what could actually be implemented with expertise on hand) or a "lawyer" prospective, but it's utility is naturally limited compared to that of a forum layout.


Time will tell.

I was a long time Indy's user (2009) and from what I've seen, the new site is about as useful as tits on a bull. No idea what it's even for. Can't find anything or anybody. I'm done with it. I predominantly utilize this site now and although it doesn't really cover my region, at least I can find a companion when I travel.

Unfortunately, through it all, I've lost track of my favorite young Pittsburgh lady. I certainly hope she's doing well. Sad to think that I may never get to see her again. I hope she's on here somewhere but I guess time will tell. Headed back to the 'burgh this summer and would hate to miss her.
