Why is it, that people always need to use the "punction, grammer" thing in an argument? Who cares if they get a mispelling? That right there is a deflection in my opinion, and an Ad Hominen attack.

When IB is getting his ass handed too him it results in punctuation or sentence construction to deflect away from him loosing a point.

CBJ7 often hypocritically criticizes others for poor spelling and grammar when he is unable to formulate an intelligent reply. When he does so, CBJ7 shouldn't whine and cry like a baby when others reciprocate in kind to point out his obvious hypocrisy.

Well, you're a lame-ass hypocrite too, because you skipped right over CBJ7's hypocritical, ad hominem post at:#97 to attack the rebuttal, jackass.

Fixed it for you............ Carry on.

No, he wasn't in "custody" ... it was reported he was free to go ...

"investigatory detention" is NOT custody.... anyway.

As much as I personally wish it were for many reasons ... it simply is not.

The police during the interview did not say Investigatory detention, they specifically said "investigative custody".

You sure your not a cop? lol

Not charged, free to go, wife recanted, gun charge bogus, nobody wants to press any charges?

What was the original subject of this Thread?

The ex wife isn't pressing charges because that would impact the amount of money she might get from the divorce, since right now she is recieving funds from the website where people gave Zimmerman money. That was smart on her part to back off.

By the way Zimmerman still has yet to pay OMarra his ex attorney, and some are questioning why he hasn't since that was the intention behind the website and raising of funds. It was for legal defense and basic living expenses. Neither Zimmerman or his ex wife are currently employed.

As to a label ... what the cops "say it is" makes zero difference .. otherwise they could call it call it what they wanted any time they wanted to call it .. to fit their desire.

Splitting people up is customary in a domestic situation ...

.. you all are stretching the facts to fit the headline ... that's a 2-way street, you know?

The beginning case is Terry vs. Ohio and just after it in the same volume is NY vs. Sibron, which explains Terry. Sibron is rarely mentioned in cases afterwards ... Terry gets all the "coverage" ... and it is often misquoted and cited for reasons not contained in the opinion, which is explained in Sibron. Out of that line of cases arose the "investigatory stop" and temporary detention for investigatory purposes .. which is what occurred in the Zimmerman case .. The distinction for the Court is important because it draws the line at which Miranda warnings are required by the S.Ct. if any questioning is to be conducted.

cops get a 911 call stating zim had a gun and hit his father inlaw in the face

no cop in their right mind goes into a situation like that without securing the people at the scene ... more than likely he was cuffed and in the backseat of the squad car until they sorted out the facts ... THEN he was released WHEN the cops got good and damn ready, and not before.
