I really like Olivia and blowpop, I've met both personally and have admired their posts over the years. Both points of view have merit, and I can see where both come from.

A couple of footnotes to both people.

blowpop, whether we like it or not, the times of the internet hobby forums have changed and guys like us are being left behind (just because I'm on hiatus doesn't mean I've forgotten what I've learned on hobby forums since 1999). Some guys don't care for your lists and it's apparent from one post in this thread that some may feel that your top 10 list is an ego thing. In order to be cool you have to call a provider a 'whore', make fun of fat people, post about taint, post cat pictures, or have >5,000 posts that are a pure waste of time to read. Guys like you and I will never be cool in this decade, but I can live with that.

Olivia, you're a very intelligent and independent woman, plus you have a lot to add. When you 'speak', I listen. Even though you understand what I've fixing to post, please consider this............not all women are as independently minded as you are. For every Olivia, there are other providers that need the money for the car note and need the customer base, so appearing on the top 10 list may add to their client base. There are other ladies who feel that appearing on the list will be good for their ego. There are many reasons.

I don't blame blowpop for posting his lists and I could care less why he does this. I don't blame Olivia for being discussed with the list. Again, mars/venus.

I read Olivia's first post and respected it, and I read blowpops answer to her post and noted his reactions to her post. Unfortunately I didn't read Olivia's second post. I just felt like the hostility and anger that came forth wasn't up to Olivia's standards.
