read that and tell me again why you claim the warrant was illegal.

The warrant was not legal. The detective did not use truthful information when he filled out the application for the warrant. The detective Jaynes was fired for doing so. From the Courier-journal.
Jaynes also wrote that he "verified through a U.S. postal inspector that Jamarcus Glover has been receiving packages" at Taylor's apartment.
But Jaynes later acknowledged to Public Integrity Unit investigators that he asked Mattingly to verify that Taylor was receiving packages from Glover. He didn't do it himself.
And he said he misunderstood when Mattingly told him that Taylor wasn't receiving packages at her apartment.
Jaynes was fired in January for violating department procedures surrounding truthfulness and warrant preparation. In firing Jaynes, Interim Chief Yvette Gentry acknowledged he believes he prepared the warrant in good faith, but said he used information that was "not only inaccurate; it was not truthful."
This not the only problem with this case.
1. The police had caught the suspect that they were looking for before they went to Taylor's apartment based on warrant built with untruthful information.
2. They had a no knock warrant. They decided to knock on the door for 30 to 45 seconds before breaching the door. If they had just used the no knock warrant, Walker would not have had time to go to the hallway and then shoot when they came in.
3. Neighbors have testified that they did not hear the the Louisville police identify themselves after knocking on the door for 30 seconds.
4. Two of three Louisville police officers who executed the search warrant were fired for breaking department procedures.
5. The current boy friend of Taylor who shot one policeman in the leg has never been charged for anything and was not on the Warrant to begin with.
6. Bad job by Louisville Police. An aspiring nurse who was not involved in the drug trade was shot dead for no reason.
7. You lose again at debate, Sport!
8. You can't complain about the Source. I used the same source you used!!
