Another guy that reads only what is approved for him by the DNC.

He also said that Democracy is the worst form of government except for all the others.
But our Founders were smarter than that anyway. That's why we don't have a democracy (that's what the left wants- rule of the mob). As you will recall when asked what form of govt. the Founders came up with Ben Franklin replied,"A Republic, if you can keep it."
The more we listen to the left, the more we lose what brought us prosperity in the first place. That's the stupidity of socialists... they never realized that without capitalism, there can be no socialism. Socialism is the system of the lazy, capitalism the system of the entrepreneur.

Until they don't.
Why is this time different? We know that unsustainable debt eventually destroys the value of all goods. This isn't news... so why is the current environment sustainable ad infinitum?

Gee I guess pantifa must have been founded just to fight Trump and his Nazi kin followers.
As far as I was aware, there's no reason one can't be proud of ones Country and the ideals for which it stands.
Are you ashamed of America? Is there a better place? Maybe you ought to think about relocating?
Yeah yeah AmeriKKKa sucks. Says every turd that never had to spend a few months in some third world shit-hole. This is not about improving America... this is about fundamentally changing it. You don't want to fundamentally change things that you love. They want to turn us into Venezuela, because none of them have had to live in a place like Venezuela.
What gets me is how so many Commies think they will all be in charge. LOL. The first thing the group of Commies will do if they ever gain power is to kill the less committed Commies... ie, the useful idiots in Hollywood, CEOs etc. They always all think there's more room at the top than there really is.

Just a note about wanting the Government out of your bedroom.
Trump wedged himself INTO your bedroom. because of him, this website has limited its scope. How does that make you feel?

Maybe it's been a long time since I watched schoolhouse rock, but I'm pretty certain that Trump signed a bill that both houses of the legislature passed with something called Bi-partisan support. (Maybe you should explain what that means?)
And in theory.. that's how I want things to work... the President should sign 99.9% of the bills that cross his desk. I mean the legislature in theory understands the Constitution and should argue out a bill that meets legal challenges.
So as far as I know, the bills that limited the scope of this site were passed in an entirely legal and proper manner. I can't think of any rights that the govt. is restricting of mine when it comes to looking for hookers online..so... I'm not really sure what you point is.
Should I be upset that Trump signed a bill into law that does not appear to violate the Constitution... I mean that's how a Republic works.
But you simply prove my point. The bigger the govt. the more intrusive it is. Starve it of resources (taxes) and its ability to stick its nose into areas it has no business is restricted. So, thanks for making my point, Chung.

Ironically, her replacement's press event Saturday, has been shown to be a Super Spreader event. 9 Covid positives already, from those who attended.
edit: make that 10 Covid positives. Bill Stepian just tested positive. Not a single Democrat in the group.

I would think that Washington D.C. should be a Super Spreader city. That's a place where many people interact with many other people very often. I expect that contact tracing in that city is a nightmare.
Interesting, there have been recent reports that Amy Coney Barrett has already had COVID-19 and recovered. I don't know if that's confirmed, though.
Lots of confusing information floating around about whether masks are really effective, so this week when I saw my Pulmonologist I asked his opinion. He said yes, he thought they did help but were most effective when worn by an infected person to reduce the chance that he/she will spread it to other people. What he implied, but didn't say in so many words, was that they are less effective to keep an uninfected person from acquiring the disease. That pretty much agrees with what I've understood from other sources that should know.

If that was their goal then they failed. Lots of folks have been infected in countries where they don't have a Republican Party.
And I still want someone to tell me what DPST stands for. I guess I'm the only one on this board that can't figure it out.

Sure, masks are more effectice at preventing you from spreading. But even if you get exposed, wearing a mask reduces the viral load, and your symptoms will thus be fewer or not measurable.

I don't know why it's so difficult for people to grasp virology. It doesn't fucking matter that Trump and others got COVID. We are ALL likely to get it.. since there is no vaccine, the people who are going to die from it, are going to die from it. We can't stop the spread, all we can do is delay it...and wreck our economy in the process.
Since it can't be stopped, the simplest answer is to let it spread at a rate that the hospitals will not be overwhelmed... which we pretty much know isn't going to happen now anyway.

Chung, unfortunately, this statement is inaccurate. Once exposed, if a person has some form of immunity to a virus, antigen based or T cell based, then the viral exposure load in an exposure event is relevant. That is the case with all viruses. If ones system is not overwhelmed, immunity manages the viral exposure. If an individual does not have any forms of immunity to a specific virus, even a small exposure load can become an overwhelming case. The virus could replicate in the body unchecked.
If viruses worked as you stated, there would be methods to mitigate all virus in nature.

I know individuals disagree with you here although it is partisan based for the most part. Your statement is highly accurate. Humans CAN NOT stop a viral spread without being placed in complete isolation. The problem with this is that as long as the virus exists in nature as soon as you come out of isolation, the viral spread resumes. Its not the fault of anyone, its the biologic nature of a virus and logarithmic spread based on the the clustered nature of the human population. Just look at other countries around the world, as soon as they try to move forward, the case level rises. Humans have evolved by developing herd immunity to pathogens until the last 100 years with the advent of vaccines. If a new virus evolves infecting humans, the clock resets needing to develop herd immunity prior to a vaccine being produced to combat it. Plain and simple. If anyone thinks they can manipulate nature, they are woefully uninformed.
