Ref's given ONLY if a hobbyist gives a review?

That is why you must first see a reference friendly and newbie seeing provider. There are some, maybe do an ISO thread in the ISO forum. She may not be what you are looking for at the moment, but you have to start somewhere. Think of it this way, she may not be your first choice to see, but when you see her, maybe she will be so good, you will continue to see her and as for the other providers who keep turning you down, send them a link via PM to your review(s) with the donation highlighted.

i guesss i'll give it a try and hope for the best. done soemthing like this in the past but the provider was mad when i asked her to be a ref to see another provider....

you only give refs if someone emails or pms you and it has to be within 3 months... so.... the person youre talking about only gives refs if the person reviewed her.

You're right. A provider can run her business any way she wants. But, this is a hobby related topic and it's called a discussion. Not "force anyone to do anything they don't want to" Besides, a HOBBYIST has a right to KNOW who has this policy.

AS a hobbyist, I would be leery of believing reviews about providers who require reviews in exchange for ref's. TO me, it puts pressure to say "yes" even when he want to say no.
