So you are stating Clinton lied, but Clinton's lies were a separate issue and independent of W's subsequent assessment about Saddam's WMD since Clinton didn't admit to -- nor did he leave a paper trail indicating -- that he was lying to cover his affair with Lewinsky. Nevertheless, absent such details as supporting evidence, you can determine a President of the United States, Clinton, can launch an announced war against Iraq's WMD without bolstering worldwide belief that Saddam did have WMD.

Clinton didn't say suspected; I did. Clinton was very clear about what he was ordering the military to do.....destroy the WMDs.

I do remember clearly Linda Tripp arriving to testify to the Clinton Grand Jury when the TV cut away to the missile attack on Iraq. You know, bait and switch. So if Clinton did believe in WMDs then he did nothing but if he didn't believe in WMDs he attacked a sovereign country to distract the US press.

JD: Clinton believed there were WMDs in Hussein's arsenal; and the timing of Clinton's military attack was an intended distraction. It was a win - win for slick Willie.

Ordering a limited, tactical strike is different than invading a country. Desert Fox was three years and one president before 9/11, and it was considered to have been successful.

Linda Tripp had been interviewed by Newsweek over a year before the bombing of Iraq (Note – Bombing of not war with), and she had been in contact with Ken Starr over a year before the bombing.

Weak logic; the fact that there were no WMDs ( disputed by some) doesn't mean that Clinton, Kerry, Gore, Clinton (H), Blair, Bush and others were lying about WMDs....all it means is that the western world had faulty intellignence.

Ok, we fought a war, lost thousands of lives and trillions of dollars, all because there were WMD's in Iraq. Except there weren't. Oh, the intelligence was faulty, well, that will make the widows, mothers, and fatherless and motherless children feel so much better. What bullshit. This was to profit the defense contractors and oil companies. Pure and simple. And unacceptable.

I know some of you enjoy killing and bombing brown people, just do it on your own time, with your own money and blood.

My idea was to not start a war. And for the 100th time, I have no idea how, who or if anyone blew up building 7. Are you competing with WTF for the biggest asshole prize? You've got a ways to go, but you're catching up.
