Fucking idiots still cannot differentiate between legal and illegal immigration.

Illegals fuck it up; for the legal ones and as a result we will end chain immigration. As well as other shitty policies enacted by idiots to bolster their sagging voter base.

Late to this thread, but agree that several countries just north of South Africa are shitholes. I was there back when missions were shutting down and vacating due to the ruskies shipping in cash, armaments, other supplies, and Cuban military. Literally, pay the politicians and otherwise keep them in power.
Henderson's two books on Angola related to mission history and tribal/colonial conflict provides a good side view to the crap that was going on.

the chain migration has to stop. Yeah, I get that Mia Love was a result of her parents being part of the chain migration which is currently legal.

Problem here is we're taking in too many people along with their children & relatives.

the 1965 immigration law favored foreigners over americans.

previous immigration laws permitted chain migration but it was limited to children, parents, and siblings of the individual legal alien. don't if I explained this right. it didn't permit multiple chains down the family tree.

Kennedy took a crowbar to the 1965 immigration law and expanded chain migration in an unprecedented way.
