John McCain is not a hero for being captured. McCain may be a hero for surviving capitivity and recovering from what those communist bastards did to him. Getting captured is not a resume' enhancer. Ask Bo Bergdahl.

As I have said previously, Trump did not say one single word about anything other than McCain got shot down. He did not comment about his recovery, he did not comment about his behavior while a POW which so many lefties did in 2008 (which I also documented). Trump has talked about McCain's political career which is pretty bad...unless you're a democrat. He has collaborated with the left at nearly every turn. He failed to secure the border of his own state. He failed to stand up to Obama when Obama sued Arizona. He failed the veterans being abused by the VA though he in on the committee that oversees the VA and has been for many years.

Of course the OP forgot to mention that McCain fired the first shot in the war of words calling 15,000 republican supporters of Trump "crazies". The same people that are going to have to be convinced to vote for the nominee next November. This, once again, shows how poor of a senator and representative of Arizona McCain is for the people of Arizona.

When a soldier is awarded a Purple a heart, I feel he should at least have a scar as a result from the injury. The rumar about Kerry is you would be hard pressed to find any scars.

In my opinion anyone that goes into the service is a hero to an extent. Getting shot, killed or captured is not something they asked to happen it just happened. I see Kerry and McCain both as Heros. Not to disrespect McCain in any way but if you compare the two, Kerry was in the heat of battle quite a bit while McCain used his influence to get a safer job that ran into a bit of bad luck. Seems like some set the bar to high for being a Hero, at least for Democratic ones that is.

Kerry volunteered to go to Nam as a rich kid, he volunteered for swift boat duty, he jumped off the boat and chased and killed the enemy that was shooting at him and fellow soldiers. he is a certified war hero, I stand by my statement - anyone trying to say he aint a war hero is a cunt, anyone.

Again, I disagree with almost every political position Mccain takes but im adult enough to see that he is a war hero. I stand up for Mccains war reputatation just like I do for Kerrys. If more Americans could stop being a cunt like Trump then we would all be better off.
