Who really cares. I don't have the time nor inclination to give a lesson about honoring the flag to a man making millions a year. He just did it for attention, however it backfired on him.
If I owned the team, I would look at it like this. He's in my stadium, working for me, wearing my company uniform, and represents me. He stands with his hand over his heart, or he doesn't play.
He can take his politics elsewhere, but not on my team.

DJ, the only problem with what you are saying is there is no rule saying players have to stand with their hand over their heart during the national anthem.

Yall do know at one point, NFL player's didn't stand for the national anthem at football games right?
Do any of yall know why it was added?
Also I don't care about sports, except for boxing..
I'll wait to see if anyone has a answer, to why it was added.
