Pretty accurate assessment. And he essentially admits it--read his signature line.

This is what John_Deere has to say about those who disagree with him.

Yep, we are whiners, hagglers, entitled slobs, fucktards, complete shitheads and idiots.
But check out his response when the ever blunt Wakeup questions his judgment

Yep, he is amazed that Wakeup would make that judgment when he doesn't "know anything about me..." and now he calls Wakeup stupid (how rude).
I don't know anything about him but he has proved that he's just another internet tough guy who can dish it out but can not take it. But I am sure he's a nice enough otherwise and the P4P ladies love him.

holy shit, this awl4not guy is thick.
look, dude, to anybody with any reading comprehension skill at all, the "you" in my statement, which was obvious hyperbole, was generic. nevertheless, you decided i was specifically insulting you, and you typed an indignant speech about what a horrible person i am.
wakeup, on the other hand, came straight at me, and i responded in kind.
try and keep up, ok?

I can't decide which is cuter: you = "obvious hyperbole," or, "was generic."
Someone please help.

heh.
i'm sure my english teacher is rolling in her grave.
again, my point…the one 4not went so far out of his way to miss…is that there's way too much pissing and moaning about one thing or another on this board. it seems to be fine for dudes to whine about screening, prices, ettiqette....whatever, and expect no argument...but as soon as someone says "get over it" and points a finger right back at the whiners, they throw a self righteous shit fit.
it's real simple, guys. if you can't handle the game, get the fuck out. let these girls do what they feel they need to and stop acting like a bunch of spoiled nancies every time you disagree with how they choose to handle their business.

Simply because I stated if guys followed the same logic as many of you, we would not see any of you. And that's a fact.

Darling, nothing I've said in this thread was directed at anyone specifically. If you are not a hobbyist, or even a respectful one, you should not be offended with the context in which I used the term.
As Caroline so eloquently stated, there is a difference between the terms client/hobbyist/john. And they all differ in the mindset of the companion/escort/hooker. And for every man, there is a woman who shares his ideals and works in a manner that works best for him.
Mr. Smooth Sailing, this board's membership only touches a corner of the number of men that make up their minds to be a woman's client in a day. When you say 'we' in your statement, you don't speak for all of them. So it is not a fact, it is just your opinion that a woman's business will dry up if she screens.
I will say that to think that in any way that little ol' you can impact a woman's ability to appeal to even a few of thousands of men because of said opinion is a VERY hobbyist mindset. I find it hard to grasp that a group will go so far to sway the ladies' thoughts on public opinion. If it isn't lax screening, it's OTC time, or the importance of reviews.
You don't get this anywhere else.

Not looking to sway your opinion or anyone else's. And I will state the obvious, you are welcome to run your business anyway that you want to. I am aware that some guys on this board maybe don't share that, hence, why I am stating it.
Furthermore, I am respectful, and I have never been turned down for any appointment that I wanted. I have taken an occasional hiatus from the "hobby" (hence why I consider myself a hobbyist, despite attempts to make that a "bad" word), and fortunately, I have been welcomed back by the ladies that are in my area, despite perhaps a 6 month or more hiatus.
And furthermore, I realize that ECCIE is a very small portion of your business. But the beauty is, if I don't like your screening requirements, I will simply move on.
But it seems that all that are responding negatively to the ladies' screening requirement are lumped together and somehow worthy of being "vaporized" as in your emoticon. That's what I'm responding to.

and it's a refreshing perspective.
some people take their internetting way too seriously, and they should occasionally hear that nobody gives an actual fuck.

But you cared enough to voice your opinion, and to go over the line by calling others "total and complete shitheads." If you didn't care, you would not have resorted to name calling. That's simply childish, or to quote your bud Wakeup, "fucking stupid."
Peace and Love to ya!

Sure, and those fish are often the ones ya hear about getting robbed or doing the robbing of folks like you, not to mention all kinda other stuff I could mention.
So, you practice convenience and the reputable professionals who are known as safe individuals will leave ya to it. Go for whatever it is your willing to risk not to be inconvenienced. If I was hobbyist, it would make as much sense to me as it does to you.....NOT! LOL

Really.... Safe for who?
I view anyone who would request personal info as a major risk for me. I have personally seen cases where providers had viruses on their notebook PCs (I am still getting spammed as a result of that) and read about cases where jealous boyfriends became a problem. How are they going to screen without using a computer?
I have also personally seen a provider send a broadcast email and include all her clients in the TO and CC fields instead of using BCC. As a result, everyone who got the email got all the other's email addresses. Some idiots had given her their WORK email addresses or personally identifiable email addresses. This provider wasn't stupid by any means, just not careful in this instance.
If personal info gets out - something like associating a real name with an online userid - it will be impossible to clean up. That could come up in background investigations for employment, security screens etc.
I occasionally do not have refs within the last 6 months. I have not been asked for personal info before, and to assume that everyone I have seen is not reputable or safe is unfounded.
In addition, while ECCIE may not make up the majority of clients for many providers, it seems like the shutdown of MyRedBook did create a problem for many on the west coast. It does look like there are providers who do not have as diversified as web presence as others. I would not assume that ECCIE isn't a major source of clients for some.
As for the mention of Eros, one way I avoid risk is by not using Eros, which has been the source of many bait and switch and ROB situations.
There is just too much generalization in this thread. One size doesn't fit all.
