To be honest, SR, she doesn't really sound like a sugar baby to me. I've been a SB before and my arrangements were starkly different from that (which sounds more like escorting from my view). I would advise against letting him know he is friends with your father. He may try and use it as leverage. However, he may understand also. But taking the chance isn't worth it.

Not sure what excuses you can come up with such as location time and so on. You could say that you have a busier schedule now for what ever reason Such as school and you are only going to be spending time with the few that fit in your schedule better.
You could even offer to point him to someone else he may like.

The reason I would go with the last one is. He shouldn't end up angry or feel it was anything personal if he is stable. That way if he does happen to run into you with family he won't feel upset to rat you out. It also allows you to still do business and you are excused from seeing him.

Not fond of lies and deception but there are times they serve better than telling the truth.

Once again, I thank all new posters for their advice, but this matter has already been resolved.

I should mention that the break went smoothly. He was a gentleman about it and did not pry. I was a lady and remained gracious while delivering the unfortunate news. He was not offended and my comfort and relative anonymity have not been compromised. I doubt that we'll run into each other in the "real" world (I don't hang out with my father and his friends that much lol), but should it happen, I am prepared, and so is he to a certain degree. I asked him - should we see each other outside of the hobby world - to please act as if he was meeting me for the first time and I would do the same. He was warmly compliant, so I do believe that any disasters have been averted for now.
