But does this not actually mean three personas? Everyone has left out the real world persona, which, as that persona pays the bills, needs to be included, even if left at home on hobby nights. So are you saying that if a balls to the wall trailer trashy bp kinda board came out that some guys would be inclined to create yet again another persona just to have a presence on that board as well?? Well, it is excellent exercise, and if you end up with a friend, even better. Even more fun if that friend has the same number of personalities, so that no one gets left out.

Seriously, if it were ok then multiple handles and multiple accounts would be perfectly acceptable and common place - like a real hobby life moonballs/sweaterpuppies/modelclient/steveinwood type game. What happened to those "multiple identities"?

Multiple handles on same site is clearly out. But, different personalities on different site could exist for a while, but sooner or later, they come to a committee decision about what they prefer and remerge into a singularity. For those that can't remerge, there's a nova, and perhaps the state issued long sleeve white jacket.

A provider should always assume that every hobbyist that she sees has multiple handles/identities because it is so easy to accomplish and soooo common place. She should never assume that any identity presented to her on the board or in person is real or authentic or safe. Everything about the hobby is composed of smoke and mirrors (on both sides). In ten years, I have heard of only one hobbyist that could be even remotely consider "real" or "honest", and that is Boltfan.

I only use eccie. Not interest in connecting RL info on P411 and I only see a few ladies (when I can) that already know me.

I guess if someone has both and doesn't want you to know which is which, they are hiding something relative to the behavior of one of the profiles.

Well there is a HUGE difference in what you are asking to happen.

Look at each site.

P411 is a site paid for by the members and Gina can and does take very seriously behaviors by either providers or clients. But Gina has also posted that providers need to do certain things such as do the screening the providers feels she needs to be safe.

IF a client does "bad things", Gina will certainly look into the situation and if needed, boot the client. (Or provider) if needed.

ECCIE is quite different.

There are board rules of behavior but things that happen off this site during a session rarely, if ever, would result in a person being banned.

Disputes between what a provider claims happened and what a client posts in a review are common yet as long as the client posting the review doesn't violate the site rules, nothing happens because that is not the function of this site.

Relying on the posting history of a "persona" created on this sort of board to judge how a person would behave BCD might be one of the least useful tools at hand when judging who to see. There are plenty of examples over the years and from other sites where the "perfect gentleman" on the board turns into a complete asshole when you open the door and he is shit faced drunk and abusive. Or worse, when he slips you something in your drink.

Back on ASPD there were more than just a few guys who set up hidden cameras in their house to videotape the sessions, all without the provider's knowledge. But they sure had great "personas" on the boards.

Complete screening without relying on having an ECCIE handle would be much better than relying on a handle.

Never forget that guys can review if and when they choose to and only WHO they choose to review. If a provider were adamant that she would never see a guy who picked up street walkers or saw girls off BP (that topic has been beaten to death). she would have no way to know who he actually saw if he never bothered to review street walkers or BP or even other providers that the screening provider had issues with.
