WOW,
I mean just WOW...
Ginger,
I got to say that wading through 7 pages of this thread. I came out with it takes time to get sales. Youseem to convey that any time spent in new client acquisition is low return. Yep, it is. I would say that any contact beyond what you are comfortable with is expendable. If you are spending too much time doing that extra work, revise your practices or stop answering.
I am sure your intentions were to educate on the dangers of getting sucked into time wasting no value add activities. But I could not help but notice when the rubber met the road (Pun intended) you modified your stance to exclude your fav clients and other exceptions.... I think you may have started with that or not been so staunch in your statement that all texting is bad. I think any type of militant stance will always be met by opposition.
I know you are less than terrified that you harmed your business. I do think you should be concerned that you harmed Gwen's business. I know I have set my preferences to email me when any post is added to threads I have posted on. You got caught by that. A simple apology would have been much more accepted here. Our rules do state that access to someone else's account without prior ECCIE staff approval is a violation of our rules. I will be discussing this with staff to get their opinion of what is the appropriate response to this. That it appears that there was a cover up with changing the comment definitely caused more harm than good.
Many seem to be making this mistake and it is very hard to back out of after the post button is pressed... Learn from other's mistakes... If you have access to more than one account, for GOD's Sake check to see who is logged on before posting.
PPE
I am so inclined to close this thread, but I think I will see where it goes.

I bet she's a joy to date too.
By your premise a Toyota should cost as much as a Lambo due to insufferable commercials and continuous product placement.
You and Mikki Fine should have a summit on marketing strategies.
I ditto PPE too.

I find myself reminded somehow of the immortal words of Barbara Billingsley (The Beav's Mom) in Airplane:
"Chump don' want no help, chump don't GET da' help!"
The hole that began as a divot in the first post in this thread must be more than half way to China by now. BTW, how do you say "That'll be 20 bucks for the next 10 texts" in Chinese, and what's the current conversion rate for the yen to the dollar? With this kind of marketing, that may be the most attractive and nearest market that remains available to the OP after this.
Now, batten down the hatches for a prolonged rant of how I missed something in a prior post and how some providers (one in particular) are booked between now and the end of time, so this community and the opinions of its members on this topic are of no consequence.

In Japan, in August it varied from 83-89 yen/dollar.

Ginger I have known (of) you for a long time and I have no beef with you...I think sometimes it's not what you say but how you say it, and maybe it just wasn't said very well, but that's neither here nor there....my real issue is, of all things:
I am having some difficulty with you quoting John Lennon ("Time you enjoy wasting, was not wasted."), only to have "GREED....is actually a good thing" It motivates, permiates and oozes prosperity" in your sig line.
Sorry....I am a huge Lennon fan and those two statements could not be more polar opposite.....if John could see that he would be turning on Yoko's mantle right about now.

Dannie,
Publicly Lennon talked the Marxist/socialist talk, but when it came to his own naked self interest he certainly danced to the tune of Adam Smith and the $150 million dollar estate he left. When you've worked as hard as he did to amass that fortune, he could afford the enjoyment of wasting some time.
If John is spinning his urn, it's probably from laughter.

The fact that this has turned into a discussion of Lennon's political views now makes this a contender for All-Time Greatest Threads.
Maybe it's just a coincidence, but I was thinking of another of John's lyrics when I was perusing this thread yesterday: "Instant karma's gonna get you...."

Go back and read Ginger's reply in post 52 closely where she mentions how she hates clients who don't tip also.
I'll bet you that she has a timer, white kitchen timer maybe, that is set for exactly 59 minutes and 59 seconds and the moment it goes off, DINE DING DING, you've overstayed and you best start pulling out the bills.
There are very few parts to this post that indicate Ginger is not cut from the same cloth as that upselling Donice.
Tip is for service above and beyond the norm.
You set your own rate.
IF you are setting it low expecting a tip you may want to re-think that price point because Platinum has gone up in price.
How about you try that HDH route to really cut out the "CL riff-raff" you have compared us to and move on.
Lot of guys drive Chevy. Only a few a Benz. But those benz drivers get pretty picky and also expect a much higher level of service.
And in your comment about CL, it tells me that you are not that far removed from that ad site in the first place due to this attitude.
Just saying.

For the love of Pete, give this thread a rest! Talk about beating the proverbial dead horse...OMG!
Ginger, might be an appropriate time to request the mods close it down.

But shouldn't you also tip based on her great attitude?

Tony,
Hopefully this thread has become educational enough for the ladies smart enough to figure out that there are many aspects of doing business that there is a background cost.
And some guys wonder why some girls get help with screening or work for an agency.
Ginger. I do find it hilarious that you started this by bitching about your valuable time but when and ONLY when you got busted with Gwen's handle did you admit you are helping another escort.
Good to know. Because if you're helping her out, it means a shitty money grubbing attitude is most likely being taught to a new provider so guys will know to avoid her kitchen timer attitude....
