Whatever happened to the other Burger king guy- Tata's?? He's been missing for a long time now. As far as immigrant food production goes, they likely pay a lot more attention to what the fuck they are doing vs. the teenagers in the local area, throwing on 30 pickles on a 50c cheeseburger. I've stopped going to several local fast food places, due to the reduced quality of food and service.
Pure shit in the past 3 yrs. It's the stay at home kids who just don't give a shit about anything. I imagine the 4th street guy makes a load of cash off his team doing the assembly of sammiches for all the food trucks, local gas stations or maybe he is supporting some of the Sheetz prepared foods, I'm sure the ppl who do their food to order aren't making that- it's actually much better than the hot foods.
Hope he finds his 300 extra ppl to keep his business going. He sure won't find it in the locales.

How is this gibberish on topic? What does Tats have to do with Charleroi? Have you’ve ever been to a Sheetz or GetGo? They make the food right in front of you. So do food trucks. Charleroi is almost dead.

GetGo's prepared foods are made in their central kitchens (often Market Districts) and then transported to GetGo's via Talon Logistics.
The premade Italian hoagie or torpedo, and turkey sammiches aren't Fourth Street Foods or assembled by the Haitians in Charleroi.

Charleroi, PA.— 09/17/24 — Recently, Fourth Street Foods has faced unfounded criticism on social media platforms such as X. Allegations claim the company replaced American workers with immigrants to cut labor costs; this is untrue and a complete fabrication. Fourth Street Foods takes pride in being a long-standing part of the Charleroi community, employing both local and international workers. Our mission prioritizes providing safe and valued employment to all, regardless of origin, without displacing American workers. We regret that recent political attention has cast our town negatively amidst rebuilding efforts. It’s unfortunate that our town was not identified in a more positive light as we continue to rebuild a community previously devastated by the departure of foundational industries. Our company's growth supports the community's fiscal health, and we remain dedicated to offering employment to qualified individuals. We appreciate all our employees and look forward to a positive future for both our company and the Charleroi community. Whatever Mr Gristle. I shop at the Market Disrict on Oxford Dr. I can assure you they don’t make breakfast burritos and ship them to the Bridgeville Get Go. Now, the Eagle might contract Talon to transport processed frozen food to the Get Gos, but Get Go throws them in a microwave and prepares the breakfast burritos ON site. Same for their hash browns, wraps, and whatever else they offer. A large Eagle distribution center is in Crafton. Trucks don’t pull up at Market District stores and distribute foods from there. The prepared foods at Fresh Market stores are pretty good. Made from hand. Like their Pizzas.
Fourth street foods as nothing to do with it.

You're misunderstanding. The prepared foods in the cooler like the pre-made Italian sub in the plastic container is made offsite. We're talking about those.
You're talking about the made to order food on site like the fresh assembled Italian sub and the cooked to order hashbrowns.
The Bethel Park MD is or at least was one of their central kitchens. Their prepared aanwiches and wraps ended up in corporate GE's and independent GE's, as well as GetGo's.
And GE owns Talon.
We agree that these sandwiches aren't made by the immigrants at Fourth Street Foods and don't create jobs in Charleroi. They would love to have that contract and make that food.

The 'grab and go' things are prepared off site. They aren't made by the people behind the counter.
The things you order to have the kitchen make are made by the people behind the counter.
Granted, there might be a few getgos or sheetz out there that have the kitchen staff make the prepared food if they run low or are slow, but I don't think they do. They might, but they also might not.

Dude- my comments were about food being prepared from an offsite location- I don't know who the fuck 4th street does food prep for, nor do I fucking care. Clearly they are making a ton of food for someone- and I'm glad you think you know all about GE, and Sheetz' purchasing of same. You seem to give more shits about that than anyone- and while bashing Charleroi's Haitians, you are also saying it's in it's death wobble. Charleroi's problems are apparently not part of the 4th street's issues; vs. getting anyone to work there who will do it with quality and to a standard.
I mentioned BK. due to another members mentioning of it' being classy (not) and just offered some humor.
The fact remains that 'local citizens' don't give a shit about the quality of work, ergo the 30 pickles comment, and that immigrants likely do give a shit.- Charleroi and whomever consumes those products made by 4th street deserve to get what they are purchasing.
Sorry I had to spell it out for you,-perhaps the heat of the day or the election is getting to you.

Sir- my comments were about food being prepared from an offsite location- I don't know who the fuck 4th street does food prep for, nor do I fucking care. They make pre-packed food and whether it comes from a general commissary another location etc., 4th street is clearly making a ton of food for someone- and I'm glad you think you know all about GE, and Sheetz' purchasing of same. - (perhaps you can start a thread on where they sell it since you seem to give more shits about that than anyone) and while bashing Charleroi's Haitians, you are also saying it's in it's death wobble. Charleroi's problems are apparently not part of the 4th street's issues; vs. getting anyone to work there who will do it with quality and to a standard. By the way, there are plenty of other retailers of food products who obviously sell these products- and rely on either their quality or supply, or both, so they may provide pre-packaged foods to many known and some not so known resellers/ retailers.
I mentioned BK. due to multiple members prior comment mentioning of it' being classy (not) and just offered some humor- sorry you missed it- and I'd say one sentence is hardly a derailing comment.

You didn’t spell anything out. Just your usual twaddle that is not backed up by facts or reality. For instance, “local Charleroi citizens don’t give a shit about the quality of work”. Did you find that Whopper at BK? That comment is not backed by fact or reality.

This lady from Charleroi spells it out for you Eye
PA VOTER: "There's just not enough resources ... this is coming to a town near you."
NBC: "What is?"
VOTER: "Immigrants that have poured over the border!"
NBC: "Why is that a bad thing?"
VOTER: "They're not coming here to assimilate to us. They're coming here to take over."

Town about 5-10 miles away from me, Charleroi, has been derisively called little Haiti

Charleroi, Pennsylvania has seen a 2,000% growth in its migrant population in the last two years.
Overwhelmingly Haitian.
It’s also part of a county that went for Trump by over 22 points in 2020.
there are no coincidences
