And I thought they would riot the same way we did in LA. I guess you need a few more championships before your fans turn to rioting.
Hats off to the mavs. I knew the Heat wouldn't win as a team because they are yet to BE a team. In all likelyhood Pat Riley will make some off season moves to improve the team within the confines of any new collective bargaining agreement. Once LeBron grows up a bit (as Jordan did) he will see the error of his ways. Pretty hard to keep that type of athlete down unless it is self inflicted.

I give Pat Riley a lot of credit. He came into the Mavs locker room after the game and congratulated them. I'll bet he was thinking to himself... "If I had been coaching, the Heat would have won."

Go Mavericks! What a series! So glad it ended in 6. I don't think my heart could survive a game 7.

All things being even the cream will always rise to the top and the Heat will win more often than not. Magic said it best "all things being even overwhelming TALENT, in this case the Heat, will win"
Watch the calls in game 6, in Miami, the overwhelming majority will be in the Heats favor, it is in the NBA's best interest to extend series, simple economics they make more money on sales, merchandise etc.
I predict the Heat win game 6 big.. Game 7 the refs hold their whistles a bit and let them play in the 4th quarter.. All will be even and the Heat will win in 7! GO HEAT!!!

You were right about Game 6 el_heat. Refs tried to give Game 6 away to the heat but they choked on their own free throws. And both bron bron & dwuss choked in the 4th this time around. Go MAVS!!!

Congrats to the Mavs and their fans! They simply just wanted it more and deserved to win... Im happy for Dirk finally getting a title, even though it was against my team, i think he's the only one on that team that actually deserves a ring. He single handed put his team on his back and carried them, willed them, to a championship.
The Heat will retool, reload, they will be back there again next year. This was year one of the BIG THREE and it got them to an NBA finals. They will win it sooner rather than later and it will be a few NBA titles if they can get a half decent bench together.
Anyways congrats Dallas! Your team played great basketball and your coach is one of the best in the league. Hopefully we will see you in the finals again next year. Enjoy it while you still can. Dallas Mavs you are the 2011 NBA Champs.

My heart says Mavs in six, but my head says Heat in seven.

I predict Mavs in 6 or 7.
GO MAVS!!!!!!

First and foremost, I hope there are no critical injuries to a major player. I want to see both teams healthy and playing at their best.
As long as Miami is starting Mike Bibby, Dallas has a very good chance. I'm saying Mavs in 6. And yes, its an emotional choice, but I think they can do it.

Got Games 3 and 4 backwards, but correct about six games!! Wrong MVP, by a mile.
