sometimes what amazes me, check, what no longer amazes me is when someone confuses one thing with something that has similar characteristics but it totally different.

blade, seriously, if you think researching, meeting, compensating, and enjoying the company of a provider is very similar to a store or restaurant, i agree w/ KCQ - you are comparing apples with kumquats.
this website and the provider/client sub-culture is NOT a store where one picks out good and buys them.
this website and the provider/client sub-culture is NOT a place where goods and/or services are sold.
this website and the provider/client sub-culture is NOT a place where products are researched and purchased.
this is a sub-culture about interactions between humans that can be incredibly delitefuly or incredible horrible. and while one or more of those humans may be compensated for their involvement in the interaction, humans are not goods or products.
also, if you cannot understand or see why a woman could, might or will get upset if you communicate w/ her in manner that SHE does not want to be communicated with [whether or not you know of that constraint], then i think you are making an incorrect assumption about this sub-culture.
if during communications w/ a woman, if she shuts you do, for whatever reason and regardless of the tone she uses, SHE SHUTS YOU DOWN.
sure you can get upset about it and then vent or cite it as a case of whatever.
it prolly wont change her mind.
so just move on and dont a big fuss about it. you can inform others but not bitching, please.
but, pls stop and think about what just happened to you [in my example above, not what happened in this thread, tho that's a good thing to do this with] and apply the inherent lesson to future interactions.
