That’s a shame. I waited a couple months after they opened because I know there’s growing pains. Same thing happened to me at Hyde Park. First meal was horrible. It just opened. Subsequent visits were pretty good.

That’s a shame. I didn’t go there until a few months after they opened. It was the same experience that I had in Cranberry and Erie. Pretty good. All restaurants have growing pains when they first open.

Texas De Brazil is always outstanding food and service. I think it’s $59 or $69 for the works and worth every penny

Try Gauchos on 6th and Penn. It’s cooked to order, not all you can eat. Braised Beef Sammie is the bomb. Their soups are great too.

... Mate, what do you think the reason was?
Were they crowded at the time??

Reason I'm asking is that I almost stopped there
for supper yesterday.

I'd love to hear some details if any of the forum members attend the brunch.

The last time was 2 weeks ago and they were half empty every time, which is why I left. If it's very busy, I understand a wait. When the manager and multiple employees are havibg social hour while I sit and wait and then get upset when they have nothing else to do but finally approach my table, it's a larger problem.

Getting back on track with the original post, I'm not sure why anybody cares what that establishment does. If people want to pay to go to a drag brunch, I don't have a problem with it. If you aren't into it, don't go. An event like that is totally different than the drag events that were taking place in schools across the country, which I am totally against. Schools need to focus on educating better, not political or social indoctrination in either direction.

If the owners want to host such an event, that's up to them. Their local customers and community will ultimately determine their fate by where they spend their dollars. That's the beauty of choice.

Default I Thought Child Abuse Was a Crime?

Is this an "all ages" brunch event?

Will it be like the one down in Plano, Texas?

You know, the one where the drag queens yanked up their dresses while singing "my pussy good, pussy sweet, pussy good enough to eat!" in front of confused little girls and boys?

Please tell me again why anyone who dares to call this shit inappropriate for little kids is a Nazi bigot?

I blame the parents in that video for allowing their **** to remain in the presence of that performance. There's no way those **** should have been hearing or seeing that. I guess the owner/manager has some culpability too for not toning it down with such an audience. Such performances belong in an adult only environment. It is possible to have a classy drag performance, although it isn't the type of thing I would find entertaining. There's a difference between a tasteful all age appropriate performance and something like in that video. I don't know what the Zelie brunch will be, but would hope better decision making would be involved.

If 18+, I'm not sure what all the commotion was about. People get their panties in a knot over the dumbest things for no reason. If you don't like such things, don't go. Pretty simple.
