Doovie, please don’t try to speak for me. We do not agree. Nothing you say will make me change my mind. It seems that this subject is right along with other taboo subjects. For the very last time: I do not consider waterboarding torture. Two, Senate Judiciary Committee “investigations” aside, I am comfortable with the imperial data I have read that states that waterboarding is effective. And three, I have stated that I believe that waterboarding is a tool of war only. We the People are not at war with the government of the United States of America.

We simply disagree, and you and WTF will never change my mind. Did it ever occur to you that you are being as obstinate as you think I am being? I find your logic as flawed as you think mine is.

What logic. What logic are you relying on. You heard Dick CHeney say it worked? That is not logic. That is a blind belief.

If you find that to be logic, then we need to redefine logic. You are using or better stated misusing the 'L' word. If you are going to use the 'L" word that way, then the folks who do not believe we landed on the moon are logical.

I am not agreeing to disagree. If the facts come out that waterboarding is indeed effective, I will then agree with my fellow posters.

You have all the links you need.......you link to Ali Soufan's opening statement, but you don't link to his questioning by the Senators nor do you link to their Senate report. Also, you choose to ignore the other witnesses on the subject during that hearing.

Take a look at what was going on in May 2009. That was the period of time Barry was making an issue of enhanced interrogation.
Ali Soufan appearance was all Barry-driven [the Chicago Way]
