Are providers influenced to change or not change rates because of perceived pressure from hobbyists?

There have certainly been some around the boards that have tried that over the years.... It is usually guys with higher "review" counts though... not post counts..... First you say I don't see providers... now you want to suggest I build my post count high in order to take advantage of new providers....You should get an opinion and story correct before embarrassing yourself......

Now, to say that a lady posting is not a form of advertising is a bunch of CHIT. Of course it is a form of advertising!.

If you look at this from outside the box... As a car salesman, often you have the privilege of driving a demo car, being a form of advertisement. If you go to HEB on a Sunday (your day off) for your weekly munchies with car sales being the furthest thing on your mind & someone sees your demo car in the parking lot and falls in love... Do you stop driving the car to HEB? or just enjoy the inevitable marketing benefits that come with driving the demo?

I have read through your posts in the past few days, and you have said a few nice things about a very few ladies, but most of your post are, well, just plain mean towards ladies.

Normally.... I have nothing much to say to ladies..... I come to these boards for the camaraderie of like minded individuals and to share relevant information about the hobby..... I was actually sitting in Amber's living room when she was shaking her head sadly about the decision she had allowed members to make in giving women the right to post in open forums on ASPD...... She thought it would be a mistake... But... men wanted to flirt.... Personally it doesn't bother me anymore or less than it did then.... There is not much that a woman contributes outside of her ads that I need from a Review Site....

So you are probably right in that I do not go LOOKING for ways to say positive things to the female membership.... I don't need to flirt for my own personal gratification nor do I need to interact with a lady online in order to make a decision regarding spending money on her....

There are certainly a few whose opinions I do not agree with and I have no problem letting that be known....


To me, you come across as a man that is angry about having homosexual desires. You surround yourself with women (strippers) hoping they can take away your homosexual desires, but when that does not work, you come to eccie & bash women behind your handle because you feel it is our fault you are homosexual. Disclaimer: I am not an expert on homosexual behavior. My opinion is based on a human sexuality class offered at ACC. Which BTW has been extremely helpful for my hobby business.

My business has never failed. I have never said or written that I need (not the same as want) more business. There are a several hobbyist and providers that could vouch for the validity of that statement.
I average 5k per month as a part time provider (& holding a full time civi job) without advertising on eccie and without any new reviews. I have worked hard & smart to build my business in this hobby to what it is today.

Why have I re-appeared????

I am posting adds in the add forum because I need 50k for a civi project I am working on. I need to re connect with old friends and make a few new ones. I post in the co-ed because I am a very opinionated woman & I enjoy voicing my 2 cents. The interest I drum up is nothing more than an appreciated added bonus.

That's a pretty damn good Part Time Business....... maybe what you need to do is pull some of the young ladies aside and teach them some of the skills that allow you to do such because a common complaint I hear from many of them is that they are doing about as much business in a month now as they used to do in a week a little over a year ago....

So the "presumed" fact that a Middle Aged Provider with no current reviews or advertising and "avg" in the looks dept can knock down in a part time manner more than than some of the hot 18-28yos are able to do surely indicates that you have something going for you outside of the normal box and these ladies ought to lign up for some classes.

Your ability to AVOID reviews on other sites as well although knocking down 20+ sessions a month (just a guess) is interesting .....

You go ahead and sell that story to all that are buying it......

PERSONALLY... I'll bet on other factors....... like advancing years and extra meat on the bones beginning to take a toll on the interest of the regulars..... losing a client here and there... perhaps some other downturn in the civvie sector.....

I imagine there are a few other reasons driving you back to the well......

And that's OK... Pretend it's for some project if you must.....

There is a market here for older experienced providers just as there is a market for the hot new flavor of the month gals.....

Run your ads... get yourself noticed.....

If your BJ is up to PAR reach out to Sixx and get on his list... A lot of guys see the ladies that make the cut......

personally..... I'm with the group that prefer the young and "less worn".... So I prefer ladies newer to the business... Providers I see are typically in their first year.... preferably in their first few months..... or less professional in nature..... Strippers and sugar baby candidates....

Somehow I just can't envision my penis someplace thousands of other penises have ventured..... All the fantasy just evaporates......

I can admit to a few ladies overcoming that..... but not in a long time....

I post fairly often and though it is none of your fucking business I feel compelled to let you know my finances are quite stable. If anything posting often and having the audacity to post a GENUINE, no bs female perspective actually COSTS me business but it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make for the sake of honesty and entertainment.
