It is true that the AR platform now comes in a variety of rounds but when mentioned in the middle of a conversation it is assumed that we're talking about the 5.56 mm. It is prohibited in some states for hunting and in other states it is allowed for taking varmints only. The OP was a stupid comment that cannot be supported by the facts.

Of course as I write this I have not gone to the most recent posts from today and read them about Florida.
