I wanted to tell all of you: nice thread, and thanks. (And hey, no bashing. No bitching. No agendas. I've read the whole thread.)
Of course some of us will be jaded by our own negativity or baggage, but, really, who better to hold this discussion than the hobby. It's definitely within our scope to discuss well.
I'm not going to chime in, really because I know my posts tend to get long, and ain't no body got time for that. (Including me)
I'll just say this since I havent seen it mentioned already. People nowadays don't want to sacrifice much. In our culture we want it all. In marriage there is inherent sacrifice. Over the years, the sacrifices are supposed to mean something as you maintain a partner who will know you for many decades and life stages, so you sacrifice the greener grass over the fence. But spouses should be fucking each other, and fucking good - gods gift song of Solomon shit - or make a mutually agreeable situation if one cannot.
I feel bad in reading some of your posts. In my marriage I was the one who was disinterested. Didn't cheat, but lost interest. A tale for a different venue, but thanks for showing me the other side. Rejection hurts from a partner. Good to remember.
Good to see some cool fuckers in this thread.
Peace,
LnH

I guess they just want to feel a guy is just as committed to them as they are to us. Unfortunately, men and women love in different ways and usually there's a disconnect in between.

Its complicated. I'll try and explain it the best I can with a few words as possible.
Basically, married women begin to feel put out or that they have sacrificed their life and goals for the family. They start to resent their husband because they think he is living his life goals and she is a mere stepping stone to his achievements in life. So she eventually doesn't feel like giving any "more" of herself because she thinks she has given enough already.
I'm NOT saying it's right. And she probably knows her perceptions are jaded but then that creates guilt and a vicious inner cycle ensues where you ain't getting shit from her and she'll be goddamned if you get it from anywhere else because if she has to sacrifice herself so much (again, this is perceived and part of the cycle) then dammit so should you.
This doesn't describe every situation but I'm guessing it describes most of them.
Hope that helps.
Best course of action is to hobby as much as you need to to keep your marriage happy and respect your family enough to keep it totally hidden. You can't fix her and she can't fix you. Best to just roll with it especially if you have kids. Divorce just isn't worth it. There are exceptions but only in extreme situations.

Well, the following can cause a woman to cheat.
when a woman during her ovulation, and there for has a slightly "stanky" pussy and is then turned on by her man, which evidently can also cause some additional musk.
Her man, instead of realizing her "stanky" pussy doesn't stink, but is normal smelling considering her condition and also should be flattered because of his part in the aroma, calls her out on it. She then finds a guy who appreciates her "stanky" pussy.
Edit: sex ed credit has to be given to Snarl for sharing

Interesting thread, but I didn't see anyone with the real answer for the question the OP asked. "Why do women get mad when men cheat".
The answer is, because most of the men promised not to. It's about breaking a commitment.
Simple as that.

I have come to believe it is foolish for anyone, man or woman, to sincerely think one piece of ass will fulfill a lifetime of desire. Certainly people have lived their lives that way.
Men are genetically designed to procreate, and often. Women make one egg a month, men, millions of swimmers per day.
Fucking or getting a blowjob is well within the genetic scripting of men. And the same is for women too. Best would be if both could do it together, and allow for arrangements to be made on the side.
