A NC/NS is totally different than a cancellation. BTW good way to get a lil extra ad in about your visit.

This was your original post. Yes, an isolated cancellation 4hrs prior to the session is normal and forgivable which is why I don't have a cancellation policy here at home in Dallas. The point you are missing is that having the cancellation fee IN PLACE for HOUSTON has been very beneficial as it has kept the time wasters away that your city is known for. The reason I am coming to Houston - finally - is because I've had many requests to tour and I figure if I can survive Houston then I can survive them all (case in point).
All I did was state a very workable and valid solution to a problem many providers have here. Now I'm sorry, but facts are facts: Hobbyists aren't spending their grocery money on providers (at least they shouldn't be), but providers are earning their grocery money off hobbyists.
Please consider the following with regard to TOURING:
I can't go and book a traveling hobbyist up to see provider after provider after provider and expect his income to suffer if most of them don't show. Would it suck? Hell yes it would suck, but will he still be able to pay his bills? Yes. He actually BENEFITS financially if most don't show. Granted it's a huge waste of time where he could have been doing other things and it's never fun to be let down. It sucks to have your time wasted - but he still has a pocket full of cash (i.e. life's safety net). For a provider, when we are booked over and over and over again and no one shows we lose money. Where you actually save money - we LOSE money. Sorry if I come off with an attitude but I try to be very clear and concise. Sometimes it's taken the wrong way.

It's not Gina's responsibility to follow every thread on some other website in search of questions to answer. If you have a specific question then why don't you email the staff at p411. Again, just stating a fact. Not trying to be mean.
Lets not keep going with this. It's a waste of all our times. Peace
