Hilariously, someone recently posed the following question in this forum: After Obama is re-elected, what is he going to do about the mess that he inherits from himself?
Everyone knows both candidates are lying. If either one of them is serious, they necessarily must raise taxes on the middle-class: Odumbo has already done so, with Obamacare and by allowing QE3, despite his denials. Like I said, I'm voting for the next Supreme Court justice. It's a dreadful thought, but now that Hillary has thrown herself under the bus to save this administration, it's conceivable she might be looking for just such a position.

And a lot of women were offended by Romney's: "Binder of Women" comment!!!!
Ya, when he said he had a Binder of Women I knew that was going to get him into trouble. The action of actively looking for women to fill the jobs is more important than the comment he made.

They both got testy. That's not what I said. I said Obama was catty, was a tattle tale and was physically aggressive.

Obama has bottom line no experience other than campaigning, not creating a record to run on and writing books. That's it. Romney has run a multi-billion dollar company and successfully governed a large budget, Eastern state. You say he laid people off. Who's to say those people weren't going to loose their jobs because the company was distressed or sold products that are something akin to buggy whips? Romney also saved a lot of jobs by turning unprofitable or insolvent companies solvent.

Romney has a record that is hard to bash so Obama spent an hour and a half bashing little or nothing aside points. Romney spent that same period pointing out his own successes and the lack thereof in Obama's record ergo, I think Romney won.

Can I cast my vote for I really don't care who won. There really should be a 5th choice for those of us who feel if either of them win we all lose.

Oh man, would I have fun with that!

I agree with IB, I'm voting for who picks the next justices. Though for different choices I'm quite sure. Not a nickle's worth of differences in all the other crap.

I still would like to find out how you conseratives got Sandra Day to retire before Obama or Hilliary got elected. That was the biggest blow to Progressives since Sirhan Sirhan shot Bobby and Nixon won the WH.

Are you really asking? It's one of those psychological things. Red represents a dictator style belief system. Of course it also represents the blood spilled by our countrymen. And I like it because it represents heart.

I'm not sure about the blue. Personally I'd rather be blue. It's more welcoming.

Haha. I thought that was a left leaning thing.

You've never heard the theory's on our color differences? Bless your heart. Hey I could be totally wrong but at least I asked the question before I even hit 16. You've never wondered in your whole life enough to ask, till now?

Not down on you at all. It just surprises me.,.. But that's not hard to do, especially when it comes to stuff on the left. It's just so out there from my limited point of view.

Yes, I heard of it just like I have heard of the Tooth Fairy.

I'm just old enough not to actually believe or speculate into that childish shit.

That is why I asked ''What next?". Astrology?

It suprises you that I made fun of you speculating on color distinctions? Because that was WTF I was doing.

It does not suprise me that you would think I had never heard of that silly shit , I am suprised that you would not think that I would make fun of that silly shit. Just check your mood ring next time before posting!

Despite candidates' protestations to the contrary, it's clear that a large middle class tax increase is inevitable. A number of analysts think a VAT is inevitable in the U.S. -- not within the next couple of years, but soon enough.

Your point concerning QE may be lost on some people. But massive deficit spending by irresponsible politicians virtually necessitates it, since policymakers are concerned that otherwise there could be flagging demand for new treasury debt issuance. And it acts just like a tax on the non-affluent, since it exerts upward pressure on the prices of such things as oil and agricultural commodities. Additionally, although many liberals prattle on about tax cuts for the "rich", the very limited extent to which they contribute to income and wealth disparity pales in comparison to the inequality-inducing effects of easy money/weak dollar monetary policies.

Regarding Supreme Court appointments, it might be worth noting the following, since this is a fantasy board: Obama's supporters may be able to realize one of their ultimate dreams if one or two more jurists in the mold of Kagan and Sotomayor are seated on the court. They could begin fantasizing about the Second Amendment going up in a puff of smoke!

If Romney wins, and a couple of the old Supreme Court Marxists retire or croak, it's very likely he will replace them with judges similar to Scalia. If that happens, there's a very good chance that Roe v Wade and affirmative action will be overturned.

That's what we need. Overturn abortion. Overturn affirmative action. Romney rules ... Welcome to the fucking Stone Age. This dildo will try and do all the stupid shit Bush couldn't.

Hunker down boys and girls. And pack your bags for Kolob.

TTH, I wish you luck but I feel quite certain that I know the eventual outcome.

Whirly talks a good game but apparently he doesn't have any confidence that Mitt Gaffeney will emerge victorious. At the end of the day Whirly shoots his mouth off with the best of 'em but when it comes time to put his money where his mouth is, he "cuts and runs" like the scared rabbit that he is!

There are two chances that you will get Whirly to bet you on the outcome of the 2012 Presidential election.

1) Slim
2) None

If you chose Curtain #2, you'll almost certainly come out a winner!

I do not think that Romney was aware that it was a team debate. I feel he did very well against both of them and won.
If the next debate is going to be a team debate, they should allow Romney to bring in a moderator to be on his team too.
I hope he brings one in that knows the facts unlike Obama's partner who clearly did not.
